Our Mikey likes it! We have actually found that he likes most everything.All-morning naps in the Cafe on a ginormous bed, meeting a dog five-times his size and loving every second of it (even when he got bonked by the other dog's tail) and getting a much-needed bath to help his skin - and all in the same day. And Mikey liked it! He actually loved it.Mikey is at least 10-years-old and was an owner surrender. An illness forced his family to be restructured and he was surrendered to us so that he could find a family that can focus solely on him. He has a slight heart murmur and a patch of fur growing back, but, other than that, he is healthy and quite happy.Mikey rarely acts his age - sure, he loves a great nap in the sun, but he also loves playing like a puppy. The best of both worlds.We have a feeling you will love Mikey as much as he loves life. His name is Finn, he has been with us his whole life, 7.5 years, he is a house dog but we let him out in the backyard to play with him or by hisself for hours at a time, then brought back into the house. We have an open cage, no crate style so he has adequate room to play. We are only trying to part ways because my daughter is 18 and will be attending college soon and me and her mother have divorced and I will be moving into an apartment on November 1st. He does require attention and we hope to place him in a loving home where he can continue to get a lot of attention.

It is with a heavy heart that we have to rehome our little KJ. He was born 01/03/2025 and gets compliments wherever he goes. He loves to be the center of attraction and gets it all the time. Life changes happened and we do not have the time that he needs/deserves. We have to travel a lot and are unable to take him with us unfortunately and I do not have the time and money to keep him any longer. KJ is the biggest cuddle dog and will follow you around wherever you go. He will lay with you play with you, he likes car rides and play in the pool. He likes to be outside and likes to play with other dogs. He still need some behavioral training, because he gets really excited when he sees people and he wants everybody to love him and pet him. If you are looking for a sweet velcro dog, he is your man! He just wants love and attention from his humans. He is healing well from his neuter on 9/30. He will be ready for adoption in a week or so. He gets along well with the resident dogs in his foster home. He is learning to walk on leash and is working on his potty manners. He definitely need training but he will excel. He wants to please and is food motivated. He is 100% good boy! He will be transferring to Washington DC tomorrow to spend the rest of his foster experience with a new foster family. He will be due a DHPP booster in a month. Murphy is a 5 1/2 month old, 12 pound, yorkie mix from a puppy mill in Virginia. He was surrendered by the "breeder" because they could not "get enough money for him." (because he was getting to old, most puppy mill dogs are sold off early - before 3 months). Poor guy is scared to death but seems really sweet. He wants to explore and cuddle and play. He is being neutered 9/30 and once healed he will be ready for adoption. He is a little skittish but there isn't a mean bone in his body. He just wants love and attention. He is working on his house manners and leash walking skills. He has been sleeping in a pen in the evening. He will begin crate training for sleep on 9/30 after his neuter. *A basic training/manners class will be required to complete his adoption.
