Meet Cashew, a 2-year, 10-month-old Akita mix who has been in our care since May 2025 and is still waiting for her chance at a forever home.Cashew is a high-energy dog who would do best in an active home that can keep up with her. She is smart and eager to learn, already knowing “sit” and “lay down,” and would benefit from continued training and structure.Cashew has a condition called masticatory muscle myositis, which affects the muscles in her jaw. She eats and drinks comfortably but may have some difficulty picking up toys. This does not stop her from enjoying life or being an active, engaged dog. She is looking for a home that understands her needs and is willing to invest time in her continued training and care.If you’re looking for an energetic and intelligent companion, Cashew may be a great fit.

Meet Bash <3He just turned 2 years old on May 11th and his last official weigh in was 107 lbs. He is already neutered and is house trained. He is affectionate with his people, protective of his home, and becomes very bonded. He needs to be the only dog in the home. He can have temperament issues when meeting new dogs and needs an owner who understands dog body language, structured introductions, and strong, confident handling. He is not a bad dog — he is protective, sensitive, and bonds deeply. In the right environment, he is incredibly loving and devoted.This decision to rehome him was extremely hard for me, but trying to find a safe home for Bash after becoming homeless several months ago is my main priority. I have tried everything to keep him with me while attempting to get stable again, but I need to prioritize his long-term wellbeing. Thank you for taking the time to read.

We acquired Kingston from a friend of mine when he was just 6 weeks old. My wife and I live in Orange California and just recently had our son who is now 5 months old. Between our son and work (24 hour shift schedule) we are unable to give Kingston the attention that he needs from us as owners. We would love to keep him but we see no other option than to find him a new home. He’s a sweet dog, who’s very energetic, loves to play and go on very long walks. His shots are up to date. He is very good around our nieces and nephews and has never shown aggression towards anyone, adults or kids. He’s an amazing dog who deserves an amazing home.
