People had previously seen him being walked by an elderly man near Del High Park, but no one could find that gentleman and Sammy was taken to the shelter. He was checked in, given an impound number of #A1818905, and sat there waiting for his family to find him. His time was running out, no one came for him, and the shelter had now given him a euthanasia date. We rescued Sammy and put up signs in the area in which he was found, hoping his owner would see them, but no one has responded.This super fluffy guy with the biscuit paws is thought to be around 4-5 years old and isnâ&#194&#128&#194&#153t a high maintenance diva. Heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s been through so much already and we would love to be able to let him adjust inside a wonderful foster (or adoptive) home. Right now, heâ&#194&#128&#194&#153d do best as the only dog.The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. Koji is a very kind soul!! He loves his family and we love him very much!! He loves and gets along extremely well with his little dog buddy Lilly. We adopted Koji and are believers of not rehoming our doggies. He loves to go on walks, be played with in the backyard and just laying around. He is not a full time outside dog. His coat in the summer makes him over heat. He is a very special breed and needs to be treated SPECIAL. He even sleeps on our bed with us!! He is not meant for dog crates at all. We are making a big move in our life right now and will be getting a home with our Son, Daughter in law and their 3 kids. We don’t want to have to do this but there is no other way.
