*Name: Gili *Age: 7.5 years old *Current Weight: 50 lbs  *Adoption fee: $400 Meet Gili, a 7.5-year-old rescue from Bali with a gentle spirit and an independent, loving nature. She’s looking for a calm, understanding home where she can feel safe and truly at ease. Gili is low-maintenance and enjoys spending her days roaming the yard, soaking up the sun, and relaxing around the house. She’s fully house-trained, doesn’t use a crate, loves neighborhood walks, and occasionally gets happy zoomies in the backyard. While Gili often chooses her own sleeping spot, she loves coming in for morning cuddles—especially gentle ear and chest rubs while she sweetly licks your hand. Gili is a devoted companion who likes to stay close and will follow her people from room to room for comfort. During summer storms, she can be anxious and seeks extra closeness, sometimes cuddling under blankets. Gili can be cautious with strangers and sudden movements so she would do best in a home without young children. She prefers to be the only pet and thrives in a peaceful, predictable environment. With adults who love her for who she is, Gili is affectionate, loyal, and deeply devoted in her own quiet way. She has so much love to give and will be a wonderful companion!  To apply to adopt, fill out an application at https://snarrnortheast.org/adopt/ PLEASE CLICK HERE FOR FAQs  ##2634318##

Story
Cash, isn’t he gorgeous?! And he is oh so sweet, his foster says. He is constantly covered in puppy kisses and greeted with his beautiful smile. Cash is fostered in CT and ready to meet and greet you! To meet with the foster family, we require an approved application on file. If you think an adoption event meeting is more your cup of tea, no approved application on file is necessary (but it is recommended). Cash is an 11 month old Akita who found himself in rescue when his senior owners were no longer able to care for him. He's doing wonderful in foster care, playing with other dogs, rolling in leaves and going on adventures. He doesn't like to share a food dish with his dog friends (don't blame him tbh) so he eats alone, but that's very easy to accommodate. Cash is a smart, outgoing, loyal athletic young dog, he will need continued training as he continues into adulthood. He is great with other dogs medium sized and larger, no small dogs for Cash as he does have a prey drive indicative of his breed. Cash has been great with older children (8 and up). He is friendly with new people and shown a fondness for leaning in and back scratches. Cash is housebroken and leash trained. He will make a great addition to your home. Cash is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. All dogs 6 month + receive a Proheart 6 injection at the time of their heartworm test. This provides heartworm prevention for 6 months from the time of that injection. The adoption fee is $500 which includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, and the mandatory CT HB 5368 fee. This dog tested negative for heartworms. Visit our website to see our weekend Events here! Pups with the designated “meet me” next to their names are in CT and ready to attend adoption events. Please check with your adoption coordinator if you are interested in a specific dog prior to coming to an event, as a dog's availability to attend can change at any time. We can not guarantee approval on site at the events, so we recommend applying ahead of time. You can apply at the event, but the application process may not be able to be completed the same day. If you are not pre-approved, you are still welcome to come and meet pups at the event! If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get a confirmation. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back. After receipt of your application, an adoption counselor will then be in touch to answer your questions about this pup, discuss the adoption process and get the ball rolling! If you have not heard from one of our volunteers within 5 days of submitting your application, please email mollibo@gmail.com.

Story
Saki came to HHR by way of our rescue friends in GA. Saki was scheduled for euthanasia for being a special needs dog. She is at least partially hearing impaired and has a condition called cerebellar hypoplasia (CH). CH is a permanent condition caused by exposure to distemper while in utero. The exposure causes underdevelopment of the cerebellum in the brain- the part responsible for fine motor skills. CH does not affect Saki’s health, but it is the reason her head bobbles and she walks a little differently than other dogs. We think it only adds to her personality. She is a silly, playful, energetic girl that loves to run and play. She gets along with other dogs in her foster home but can also be a bit rude in the beginning because her condition leaves her less able to read cues from other dogs. Saki would be best suited for a home with adults or older kids (teens and up). Saki is about two and a half years old and weighs 58 lbs. She is spayed; vaccinated for rabies, distemper, and bordetella; microchipped; and recently treated for heartworm by our veterinarian. Saki is current on flea, tick, and heartworm prevention. Interested in meeting Saki? Please complete an application By visiting our website www.HalfwayHomeRescue.org. Adoption donation $500

✅ Currently in South Korea 💜 Available to fly to JFK & EWR Meet Geondam! 🐻 💙 Name: Geondam 💙 Gender: Male 💙 Age: Estimated 5 years old (Born in April 2020) 💙 Weight: 10 kg / 22.05 lb 💙 Adogs News Account: @_adogs_ 1️⃣ Health Condition * Neutered. 2️⃣ Rescue Story * Geondam was once on the first euthanasia list at the Gimje City Shelter. When rescuers first saw him, he was shivering in the corner of a cage, terrified of human touch. We couldn't give up on him, so he was rescued just in time to give him a second chance at life. 3️⃣ Basic Information * With People: Is very shy and takes a long time to open up to new people. Needs a patient family who can wait for him to feel safe. * With Dogs: Gets along very well with his friends at our center. * With Cats: Tends to chase them, so caution is required. * Separation Anxiety: Unknown because he currently lives in a group setting at our center. * Potty Training: Unknown, but he currently prefers outdoor potty breaks. * Walks: Showed great walking skills during his time at the training center. * Hygiene: Was very well-behaved during grooming and hygiene care at the training center. * Because he is fearful, he may try to nip if forced into something. A gentle approach is essential. * Absolutely loves treats! * Is still scared of human touch. Needs time to learn that hands are for love, not for fear.

✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to JFK/EWR💟 The prices listed are based on USD, and the adoption fee will be calculated in CAD according to the exchange rate. Meet Hodol❤️ 💙 Adogs Center Updates: @_adogs_ 💙 Hodol's News Account: @hodol_imbo 1.) Health Condition * Neutered. * Microchipped. 2.) Rescue Story * Hodol was living at the Gimje City Shelter. He was waiting at the shelter with a smile on his face despite the weather getting colder, but no one stepped up to adopt him. The shelter had poor conditions, with infectious diseases spreading and poor heating, so Adogs urgently rescued him. 3.) Basic Information ❗️As a puppy, he may need training in areas such as separation anxiety, potty habits, biting, nipping, whining, disorderly behaviors, howling and barking. ❗️It is difficult to predict his shedding and growth size because his parents are unknown. * With People: Is a little shy but is docile and stays in your arms when picked up. Once he becomes familiar with someone, he wags his tail like a helicopter and runs around happily just seeing them come near. Looks comfortable, often resting by your side or grabbing a toy and making himself at home. Gets a bit jealous when you pet other dogs, so he nudge his way in for some affection. * With Dogs: Is never defensive with new friends and always ready to play. * With Cats: Hasn’t met them yet. * Separation Anxiety: Stays relaxed and sleeps in his spot even when alone without separation anxiety. Is perfectly fine staying with strangers, playing and spending time with them without any issues. * Potty Training: Has a 100% success rate on pee pads. For stools, he hits the target 50% of the time and the other 50% are usually just off the edge of the pad. * Hygiene: Accepts brushing well without resistance. Finds drying a bit uncomfortable, but he handles it well without any trouble. Although he doesn’t like it, he’s docile while getting his nails trimmed with his belly-side up. .* Walks: Hasn’t been on walks since his vaccinations aren’t complete. * Car Sickness: Didn’t show signs of car sickness even during long trips lasting more than 3 hours. * Since he’s still a teething puppy, he has a habit of nipping at hands or feet, which is easily managed with wood, sticks, chews and tug play. * Whines or barks for attention during guardian’s mealtime but he settles down quickly if s/he ignores it. * Has a great appetite and loves food. * Gets scared if picked up suddenly, but he’s fine if you support his hindquarters while lifting. Since he hasn’t had much experience going for walks yet, he gets quite nervous when outside. * Is great at 'sit,' and 'wait.'
