Greets other dogs nicely whom she encounters while out for walks. Dooly received training at a training center and learned how to live with people. **Current Location: in a local shelter in South Korea** Rescue Story : Say hi to SoHee👋 a friendly lovable girl with cute freckles! SoHee is one of the three siblings rescued from a dog meat farm in South Korea at just 3 months old in April 2019. With their lives luckily saved, the little puppies were brought to a private shelter but suffered from parvovirus at such a young age. SoHee fully recovered after treatment but has never been allowed to live in a loving home so far. Despite her not-so-bright past, she is still one of the most friendly and cheerful dogs in the shelter. We don’t want her to spend her whole life in this shelter without knowing what is like to be loved by her own family in a loving home. This sweetest girl is ready to warm your heart and home! Personality: Sohee is known for being friendly, affectionate, and docile demeanor, especially around people including strangers! She would thrive on love and affection, making her the perfect companion for anyone seeking a loyal and lovely fur buddy. She has a moderate level of energy. Affinity with: - Cats: Not tested - Dogs: Generally good with other dogs, but she does not get along with some. - Adults/Kids: Friendly with adults including men / Good with kids that try to pet her on a walk. Shedding : 5-7 Food Allergies : No. Walking Manner : Very good, walking wonderfully on a leash. We rescued him from certain death when he found himself at a southern kill shelter, infected with a deadly heartworm infection, intestinal parasites, skin infection, ear infection, thin and unvaccinated, and dumped at a shelter. His spirit was broken. Then to make matters worse, he contracted PARVO at the shelter!! We couldn't let him die that way! So we rushed him to our vet and got to work looking for foster. Today Hershal has a clean bill of health, he's looking and feeling great. And he loves how it feels to be safe and loved and part of the family at his foster home! Hershal is approx 7 or 8 years old. CHANCE – have you ever seen a more handsome fella? Just a few things about this sweet guy. The vet believes that Chance is between 18mo - 2yrs old and weighs 59lbs. • He is heart worm negative and neutered. •He is super sweet and gentle - wants to cuddle and be near his person. •He is dog-friendly (the foster doesn’t have cats, so we are not certain if he’s cat-friendly) •He is people-friendly to everyone he has met. Foster does not have small children, but he has been fine around children on walks. Due to his size and youth, he might knock down small children, but he is not aggressive. •He is house broken. Even in the rain and snow he has let us know he needs to go out. •He is a little timid to new people at first, but warms up quickly. •He very rarely barks. •He has learned to sit, walk on a leash, and “wait” for his food bowl to be put down. •He is very food motivated, so can be easily trained with treat rewards. He is not reactive when eating. •He can be possessive over certain toys with a low, warning growl if another dog tries to take it from him. •He is not interested in fetching a ball, but loves chew toys and antlers. • He can be very active, but is also happy cuddled up with his person. •He would do great in a house with another dog, but would be fine as an only dog also.
