Story
Nico is a 2.5-year-old neutered male Akita on Long Island, NY. He is a loyal, devoted dog who bonds deeply with his person and thrives with an experienced owner familiar with Akitas or similar guardian breeds. He is calm and well-mannered in the house, fully housebroken, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. Nico enjoys daily structure, 45-minute walks, backyard play, and quiet time at home. He eats Arcana food twice daily and knows commands such as sit, stay, wait, down, paw, up, and settle. He has completed puppy classes and private training. Nico must be the only pet and should live in an adult-only home. He is naturally protective and does best with clear boundaries, consistency, and calm introductions. In the right home, Nico will be an incredibly loyal companion and steady presence. This rehoming is being done responsibly due to major life changes, with his long-term well-being as the top priority. He is a special dog who will be deeply devoted to the right person.

Story
Meet Mr. Smith!Mr. Smith arrived at our care center as a stray, so his past is a mystery. Despite this, he's proven to be a charming fellow who enjoys human company. With a soft, sleek coat and gentle eyes, Mr. Smith is both handsome and affectionate. He's known for leaning into petting and giving his full attention to those nearby. My Ideal HomeMr. Smith would thrive in an adult-only home with an experienced owner who is familiar with large dogs. A calm, quiet environment where he can relax and feel secure would be best. His new family should be prepared to invest time in his training and daily exercise.Good with Kids? No. Due to his reactivity and size, Mr. Smith is best suited for a home without children under 13.Good with Other Pets?Mr. Smith has shown reactivity towards other dogs and should be the only pet in the household. He would do best without cats or small animals.Leash MannersMr. Smith is a strong, enthusiastic walker who pulls quite hard on the leash. Training with a front-clip harness or head halter, along with positive reinforcement techniques, would greatly benefit him.Overall HealthHealthy overall with no known medical issues.Behavior DeterminationExperienced Adopters - Mr. Smith requires a patient owner willing to work on his training and manage his anxiety with gentle guidance.Other Fun FactsMr. Smith loves to engage with people and enjoys mental challenges like puzzle toys and hide-and-seek games. He's sensitive and shy but blossoms with patience and care. Primary Color: Black Tan Secondary Color: White Weight: 102 Age: 7yrs 1mths 0wks

Story
💙 Name: Hodol 💙 Gender: Male 💙 Age: Estimated 3 months old (born in August 2025) 💙 Weight: 3.2 kg / 7 kg 💙 Adogs Center Updates: @_adogs_ 1⃣ Health Condition * Neuter: Incomplete. * Others: Microchipped, being treated for canine coronavirus and giardiasis. 2⃣ Rescue Story * Hodol was living at the Gimje City Shelter. He was waiting at the shelter with a smile on his face despite the weather getting colder, but no one stepped up to adopt him. The shelter had poor conditions, with infectious diseases spreading and poor heating, so Adogs urgently rescued him. 3⃣ Basic Information ❗️As a puppy, he may need training in areas such as separation anxiety, potty habits, biting, nipping, whining, disorderly behaviors, howling and barking. ❗️It is difficult to predict his shedding and growth size because his parents are unknown. * With People: Is a little shy but is docile and stays in your arms when picked up. Once he becomes familiar with someone, he wags his tail like a helicopter and runs around happily just seeing them come near. * With Dogs: Plays well with the other dogs at our center. * With Cats: Hasn’t met cats yet. * Separation Anxiety: Unknown, since he’s living in a group setting at our center. Will need training from scratch. * Potty Training: Does fairly well with potty pads. May need to be re-trained in a new environment. * Walks: Hasn’t been on walks since his vaccinations aren’t complete. * Car Sickness: Didn’t show signs of car sickness on short-distance rides. * Biting: Has not bitten. However, he may nibble or chew since he’s still a teething puppy. * Barking: Sometimes whines a bit if he seems someone outside his kennel. * Likes: Has a great appetite and loves food. * Dislikes: Although he is docile when picked up, he seems a bit uncomfortable with it since he yawns (a sign that a dog isn’t comfortable).
