MooMoo was found as a stray near the Lexus dealership in Riverside. A good Samaritan brought him home. The shelter was notified, flyers put up, posted in multiple lost and found sites, but no one has come forward to claim him, so he is now looking for a family that will be more careful with him. He is about a year old and weighs approximately 30 lbs. MooMoo is very playful, crate trained and seems to be potty trained. He hasn't had any full intros to other dogs yet. Oreo is a super sweet girl with anxiety. She is a cuddler and loves to meet new people, but will bark if she feels threatened. She has allergies and a bite history, never a human. She likes to meet dogs but if there is ever ego or competition she is very insecure. She is scared of kids, cleaning tools, and things with wheels. She is better with constant training and anxiety meds. She needs a quiet home with a yard, and people and pillows to cuddle. She would love to chase any rodents in your yard, she is food motivated and is pretty good at tricks. She loves dancing and games but is terrible at fetch and tug of war.

Sonny, an American Bulldog mix, was wandering down a busy street near a homeless encampment with no owner nearby. A woman driving by cared enough about Sonny to pull over and take the time to scoop him up. He was extremely dirty when he was found, and it’s very possible he had been living on the streets. This compassionate lady brought Sonny to AALOC for safekeeping until he finds his new forever home. Sonny is a lovable guy who enjoys attention and affection. A warm, sudsy bath uncovered his true handsomeness: Sonny is black and white with black button eyes and a black nose, accented with a bit of pink. He is a large dog, weighing in at about 70 pounds and is very strong. We feel Sonny would benefit from some basic training and needs an owner who could provide him with the exercise and discipline that would provide Sonny the best life. Once your application is reviewed and approved, we will contact you to make an appointment to visit us at AALOC to meet Sonny and get to know him a bit. Lola is a beautiful dog, about 70 to 75 pounds. She’s mostly lazy but definitely needs more active play, she loves dog beach, and needs more activity in her life. I am a new mom of two small babies and was hoping that Lola would love the babies, and she does not so it’s an issue in our home. We just want her happy and with someone who can specifically bond with her and take her out every day and show her lots of love and affection that I haven’t been able to give her since the kids arrived. I just want her happy and that’s the main goal! I can ease into the integration for Lola to get used to it if that’s what needs to be done, I’m open to any ideas!
