Hi meet Allie Allie is a Lovely American Bulldog/ Hound mix who is about 5 years old and is full grown at around 70lbs. Allie loves playing with her people and toys but is also an amazing snuggler. She is a happy go lucky girl with all who meets her. She would be best as an only dog in the home as she loves the attention and is not a fan of sharing. Allie wants a person/family who will provide her with a life of mental and physical stimulation while keeping her safe and happy. She loves to be with her people, so she needs a plan if there are longer workdays, so she is not spending too much time in a crate. Allie would make a great hiking, running, and walking partner. Allie came to us after being rescued from the shelter system. The independent fellow rescuer that pulled her and Chance wanted to give them a second opportunity to find their forever homes, but they fell ill and needed help, they reached out to TLF for assistance. Sporty Spots is a very handsome Saint Bernard American Bulldog mix that weighs about 80 pounds! He absolutely loves people and loves to get attention and belly rubs! He will sit with his head in your lap getting all the head scratches for hours if you let him. He is a goofball and is sure to make you laugh and smile everyday.  Spots is a super friendly and outgoing dog. He is good with children that are aged 14 and over! He loves toys, and he also loves to play in water. He is the kind of dog that would love to play in the sprinklers and have his own little pool he can play in. He really loves to play with balls, he will chase them all day. Spots would do best in a home that has a backyard for him to run around in.  Spots does well with some dogs that are his size or larger. Spots will need to go to a home that has a strong handler and has owned large dogs before. So far, he has learned to sit, stay, and lay down.  Overall, Spots is an amazing dog that is waiting for his forever home. He is very loyal and very friendly with other people. This precious bonded pair of senior dogs needs a new home ASAP! The owner has lost his home and is completely out of options. He is devastated and, out of fear of them ending up in a shelter and suffering that trauma in their golden years, he is considering humane euthanasia. These sweet babies do not deserve for their story to end this way. They deserve warmth, love, soft beds, gentle care, and the chance to spend their final years feeling safe and cherished together. Please, if anyone can foster or adopt this bonded pair immediately, their lives truly depend on it. We are racing against time to find them a safe place before it’s too late. Training, Adjustment & What to Expect Many rescue dogs come from very different backgrounds. Some may have previously lived in homes, while others may have come from the streets, overcrowded shelters, neglect situations, or environments where they had little structure or guidance. Because of this, most rescue dogs arrive with only basic training at best, and some may have had no formal training at all. Even dogs who appear well-behaved in foster care or at the rescue are still adjusting and learning. The rescue environment itself also does not always allow for extensive one-on-one training. While we work hard to provide safety, structure, socialization, and basic guidance, adopters should be prepared to continue training and support after adoption. Owner Responsibilities & Veterinary Care Owning a dog is a lifelong commitment that includes daily exercise, companionship, routine veterinary care, training, mental stimulation, and financial responsibility. Chacha T will need: Daily walks and interaction Continued training and guidance Routine wellness exams and updated vaccinations Preventative veterinary care A safe, stable, indoor living environment Because vaccine records are unavailable and vaccines are currently due, adopters should establish veterinary care promptly after adoption to update and maintain her preventative care schedule. Consistent veterinary care, proper nutrition, preventative care, and emotional stability are all essential to helping her live a healthy and happy life. Chacha T is an indoor family dog and is not to be chained or left outside. Kia is an amazing girl. She is a German Shepard Boxer mix! This girl is still young and she is eager to please and ready to learn! She was in training for a while and knows her basic commands! She is also crate trained! Kia is ready for a family that is going to take her on lots of adventures! She loves to get out and see the world and would thrive with an active family! She is good with large & medium dogs, people, and kids! She is looking for a foster home or her forever family.
