A year later, Tom and his siblings were placed on the euthanasia list, but they were rescued by Adogs just in time. 3⃣ Basic Information * With People: Still feels a bit shy with human touch, but approaches with curiosity to sniff. Runs away if you try to touch him. Even though he runs away, he is gentle without any signs of aggression when approached by strangers. Comes closer to familiar people with treats. Can be touched and leashed when he is cornered. * With Dogs: Gets along well and plays only with familiar dogs. Is a bit wary of new dogs and does not mingle with them. * With Cats: Does not react to cats nicely. Barks if he sees them outside the fence. May chase or threaten them, so careful attention is needed. * Separation Anxiety: Not confirmed as he currently resides with other dogs at our center. * Potty Training: Only does outdoor pottying at our center. * Hygiene: Takes a bath nicely and accepts brushing well. * Walks: Has been trained at a dog training school, so he is a well-behaved walker! May be startled by sudden noise during walks, so care should be taken. Pulls a little on the leash and he’s undergoing training for this. * Car Sickness: Doesn't get car sick. * Has not bitten. * May bark when meeting strangers. * Loves treats and food. * May feel uncomfortable with too much touch or attention. Hello, nice to meet you. I’m OTIS. And yes… I do have a story. 📖🐾 I started out at the pound, waiting patiently like so many good dogs do, hoping someone would choose me. One day, they did. I was over the moon, tail wagging, heart wide open. Freedom at last. But my happy ending didn’t come then. The person who adopted me didn’t actually have a home. So instead of a couch and a food bowl, I went from the pound… to the streets. For 10 long months, I survived on my own. No one really knows how I managed, but I did. When this rescue realized what had happened, they were heartbroken. They were trying to line up a foster for me, but this person got to me first. Fast forward months later, when a volunteer spotted me on another shelter’s Facebook page. One message. One alert. And suddenly everything changed. The director jumped into action, and just like that, I was finally safe. And here I am. ❤️ Despite everything, I’m still the same big, goofy, gentle soul. A little scuffed up on the outside maybe, but my heart never hardened. I still love people. I still trust. I still believe my forever human is out there. Sporty Spots is a very handsome Saint Bernard American Bulldog mix that weighs about 80 pounds! He absolutely loves people and loves to get attention and belly rubs! He will sit with his head in your lap getting all the head scratches for hours if you let him. He is a goofball and is sure to make you laugh and smile everyday.  Spots is a super friendly and outgoing dog. He is good with children that are aged 14 and over! He loves toys, and he also loves to play in water. He is the kind of dog that would love to play in the sprinklers and have his own little pool he can play in. He really loves to play with balls, he will chase them all day. Spots would do best in a home that has a backyard for him to run around in.  Spots does well with some dogs that are his size or larger. Spots will need to go to a home that has a strong handler and has owned large dogs before. So far, he has learned to sit, stay, and lay down.  Overall, Spots is an amazing dog that is waiting for his forever home. He is very loyal and very friendly with other people. Once an adoption is approved, dogs will travel to the United States through legal and approved international transport procedures. Everyone thought she’d find her forever home quickly—but somehow, three years have flown by at the shelter🥲 • Personality: Friendly, Easy-going, Affectionate Taeri is super friendly and easygoing—she quickly warms up to new people and loves being around humans! She’s very affectionate and loves cuddles. You’ll often find her lying on her back waiting for belly rubs🥰 Her energy level is moderate—playful but not hyper. • Affinity with -Cats: Not tested -Dogs: Taeri gets along well with other dogs at the shelter and adjusts easily to new friends. -Adults/Kids: Good with all people, including men!
