Hi! I'm Trixie, I joined PPITS after a good Samaritan saved me after I got dumped out of a car in Long Beach. I'm an American Bully and about a year and a half old. My foster Mom says I'm a brilliant girl as I learned to use the doggy door the same day I arrived at her house when i was a baby. I was previously adopted as a puppy but returned to the rescue and I have been looking for my forever family since. I'm a loving pup who loves everyone I meet. I love giving kisses. I'm an energetic girl who loves walking and playing with my toys. Besides that, I would do best in a home as an only dog. I am not the best with little kids as I cant contain my excitement around them or make me nervous. I'm looking for an active loving family that i can bond with and love, that will take me on adventures, show me the world, have a solid routine and discipline and guide me to continue being a good girl. Sonny, an American Bulldog mix, was wandering down a busy street near a homeless encampment with no owner nearby. A woman driving by cared enough about Sonny to pull over and take the time to scoop him up. He was extremely dirty when he was found, and it’s very possible he had been living on the streets. This compassionate lady brought Sonny to AALOC for safekeeping until he finds his new forever home. Sonny is a lovable guy who enjoys attention and affection. A warm, sudsy bath uncovered his true handsomeness: Sonny is black and white with black button eyes and a black nose, accented with a bit of pink. He is a large dog, weighing in at about 70 pounds and is very strong. We feel Sonny would benefit from some basic training and needs an owner who could provide him with the exercise and discipline that would provide Sonny the best life. Once your application is reviewed and approved, we will contact you to make an appointment to visit us at AALOC to meet Sonny and get to know him a bit. Despite not having any lucky finding his people, Jewelz is full of personality and such a sweet boy! Jewels will not go anywhere without his toy!! He walks around with his toy in his mouth…no matter where he goes, he’s sure to bring his toy with him! He loves his beds, belly rubs, he loves to cuddle, and rides well in the car.
