Now who is this adorable little meatball?? Meet ATHENA, she is a 3 year old bulldog and just as cute as can be. She is a petite girl with a big personality, and keeps us laughing all day long. She is a bull in a china shop with absolutely no spatial awareness. Athena was taken in by good samaritans after they witnessed her being thrown from a car. They got her all patched up, but weren’t in a position where they could keep her. Even though they had fallen in love with her immediately. We are hoping for a bulldog experienced home, who understands the amount of care that goes into a breed like this! As Athena does have some ongoing medical needs, she is on a medication and food regimen where she is stable. Athena does need to be the only pet in an adult only home.May 6, 2025, 5:28 pm

Sonny, an American Bulldog mix, was wandering down a busy street near a homeless encampment with no owner nearby. A woman driving by cared enough about Sonny to pull over and take the time to scoop him up. He was extremely dirty when he was found, and it’s very possible he had been living on the streets. This compassionate lady brought Sonny to AALOC for safekeeping until he finds his new forever home. Sonny is a lovable guy who enjoys attention and affection. A warm, sudsy bath uncovered his true handsomeness: Sonny is black and white with black button eyes and a black nose, accented with a bit of pink. He is a large dog, weighing in at about 70 pounds and is very strong. We feel Sonny would benefit from some basic training and needs an owner who could provide him with the exercise and discipline that would provide Sonny the best life. Please complete an application to adopt Sonny at www.AALOC.org. Once your application is reviewed and approved, we will contact you to make an appointment to visit us at AALOC to meet Sonny and get to know him a bit.
