~ADOPTABLE GIA~ Dog, kid and chicken friendly! Meet beautiful Gia the gem. Gia and her brother Gio along with 4 other adult dogs, lived their lives at the end of chains before a concerned citizen spoke up for them. All six, yes, the pups as well, were living on the end of chains, defenseless and unable to escape predators, and without adequate access to food, water or shelter. When all 6 of these sweet dogs arrived at the shelter, they were all either underweight or emaciated and most of them had injuries. They cowered and pancaked to the floor when anyone approached them or a hand was raised. Update- Gia has now been in foster for a few months and is really blossoming in foster care. She is shy, but loves gentle affection. She will need an adopter who is patient and kind, who will take things slow for the first couple weeks. Gia is doing a great job with crate training, and potty training and enjoying learning how to be a typical puppy. Gia lives with for young children, dogs, and chickens. ï¿ݟ month old mix, around 35 pounds, please complete the application below. We are looking for adopters who will give her the life she deserves!
