Story
Make sure you let us know you saw Chowder on Adopt-a-pet. Foster report: He did AMAZING!! No accidents in the house, loves to sleep in bed, enjoys the outdoors, but pretty fond of central air also. Husband said he was a great playful buddy all weekend, likes to zoomie around and play tag....when this pup naps, he naps. Chowder does have a drive for small animals; no cats, birds, bunnies....Children 10 and older are best for this big boy.

Story
Skyler~born~May 2011Skyler was adopted from PAAW back in 2016 and was a loving and wonderful companion for her adopter. But her person moved into an apartment and he could not take her with him. She was an excellent companion and it broke his heart to give her up. He knows she will make someone else a great companion too.Yes, she is elderly, but she is so sweet too! She deserves to live out her golden years in a comfortable and super loving home.Skyler is a very sweet, gentle, and lovable girl! She is very easy going, likes to lay around and have her belly rubbed, and would be the perfect new addition to brighten up your life! She seems to smile all the time, and is a big ol' lovable galoot! She weighs about 60 pounds. She is good with people, but because she is very strong, and though she is a senior now, a home without young kids would be best for her. She is good with other dogs overall, but would prefer a home without other dogs or cats, just because she is so strong and loves her people more than anything, and she deserves all the love she can get now as she adjusts to a new home! Skyler is so sweet and easy going and she deserves to continue being loved in her golden years. To meet her is to love her, so please apply!_____The adoption fee includes age-appropriate vaccinations, heartworm test, spay/neuter and microchip! Please click on the link for our:Online Adoption Application: https://paawarren.org/adopt/adoption-application-form/Details and info on Website: https://paawarren.org/

Story
Meet Duke! Duke is a fun loving and loyal boy. He loves to play tug-o-war with you or any other dog that’s willing to indulge him. He’s a sucker for dog biscuits and belly rubs! This boy is quite literally always happy and goofy. He is up to date on his shots. He is housebroken and crate trained. He’s great with kids, other dogs of various sizes and has experience with cats. Duke has been fostered at my mother’s home for the last year. He was moved there through no fault of his own. His previous owner had a work/life conflict and couldn’t care for him anymore. Duke would do best in a home with a younger couple or young single person who ate active. My own children are around him often and absolutely love him. We would bring him home ourselves but our lifestyle isn’t a good fit for him. We want to ensure Dukes next home is his forever home. Any applicant will need to sign contract that if they can’t keep him, they relinquish Duke back to us.

Story
Zoe is a 2yr Bulldog/Catahoula Mix. This little lady is as sweet as can be! She was originally found as a stray in Ohio before coming into our care. She is such a joy to be around and loves meeting new human and doggy friends. We are also a dog daycare, so she has been exposed to lots of different pups. She does well with medium and large breed playmates, although we don't think she would do well with small dogs or cats due to how rough she plays at times. She is extremely energetic and loves to run around the backyard. When indoors, she loves playing tug and laying around chewing on bones. She would do best in a family with another dog to keep her company, however this is not required! Zoe is house trained, crate trained and up to date on all vet care. She would make a perfect addition to any family! Interested in Zoe? Reach out to us for an adoption application!

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. If interested in any of our animals for adoption, or to foster an animal, please fill out the respective application here to get the process started. Visit our FAQ webpage for commonly asked questions about our adoption/foster process. Meet Joyous, aka Joy, a lovely girl whose father is an American Bulldog mix and mother is a Colby Red Nose Pit Bull.  This sweet girl was born 9 days before Christmas in 2015 and weighs about 65 pounds.  She is an absolute delight to be around and loves to play and cuddle. Joy is very social and does well with other dogs and kids of all ages.  She is well-behaved and knows basic commands like sit, stay, and come.  She is also housebroken and crate trained, although she would prefer not to be crated, making her a breeze to care for. One of Joy’s best qualities is that she is an excellent walking companion.  She walks great on leash, never pulling or getting distracted by other dogs or people.  She is also very active and loves to run and play, so having a fenced-in yard would be ideal for her. Did I mention she loves to play ball? Joy is looking for a family who will give her all the love and attention she deserves.  She will make a loyal and loving companion, always eager to please and cuddle up with her people.  If you’re looking for a sweet dog who will bring joy to your life, Joyous just might be the perfect fit! For more information or questions, email Tim at tmb611@msn.com.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed. The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label. Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by. October 2, 2023, 4:43 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Cyrus had parvo at a shelter and was scheduled to be euthanized as there was no room to isolate him. A foster was able to take him home and provide the medical care he needed. Now he has recovered completely and is ready to find his forever home. He is a burst of energy and constantly wants to play. He gets along well with the foster's dogs. He would not do well with cats. He needs an owner that is just as energetic and has time to take him places to burn off all that extra energy. He is still cautious with strangers but warms up  quickly.   Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to    Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information.    Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost. Story
Make sure you let us know you saw Bruno on Adopt-a-pet.*In a foster home, call for meet/greet* Talk about a lug head, this big guy was found as a stray by a vet tech who tried to find his owner. With no luck he ended up at the shelter. Bruno quickly showed us what a ham he is, he's quite the crooner too! Bruno does bark to get your attention and when he's excited. This smart pup knows sit, shake, down, he comes when called, enjoys walks (he's strong), loves to romp around the yard, loves to "fish" out of the pool, and has done well with the canine friends he's met, he will not share toys and shows some possessiveness of them. Bruno is a big boy, with a big heart, he loves everyone. We say no small children due to his size and tendency to chew up toys. If you've been looking for a a big pup that doesn't require a lot of work make sure to visit with Bruno Mars!
