She loves the outdoors minus water 💦 She loves laying on the back porch and soaking up the sun. Wagyu is great in the crate and potty trained. She loves toys and congregating them all into an OCD pile. She’s got spurts of energy but is a lazy couch potato when you’re sitting in the couch. She loves to cuddle and would prefer to be right up under your arm during a movie night. She loves women and kids and adores men. She’s pretty solid, and weighing in at about 85lbs she’s a hefty gal to scoop into the car. She’s up for an adenture though and we know there’s someone out there ready to give her one!

Dara is a hoot, but also a homebody, and she is the type of girl who would love to be in her jammies back at home by 8pm. Currently living in a foster home, Dara has shown that she is a great cuddler whose favorite place might just be bundled up in bed. She will even bark to let you know when it`s bedtime and she wants a snuggle. She`s not totally lazy, though. She has a nice, moderate activity level, with bursts of silly zoomie energy on occasion. She enjoys walks and hikes, and is working on being a tugboat on leash - she will at least help you up the hills. Her signature move is wriggling her dumpling self around on her back, partly for the joy of it and partly in case you want to give her belly rubs. Dara could be a little timid meeting new people and visiting new places at first, and she`s really come into her own and her goofy personality shines in a home environment. So if you too feel like a bit of an introvert and are looking for a kindred spirit, Dara is your gal. She is also good in her crate, and totally housebroken. At around 5 years old, Tyson has some manners that come with maturity but retains a very silly spirit to keep you laughing.Tyson is a total goofball and super playful! He loves toys and it`s hilarious to watch his jowls and wrinkles flapping in the breeze when he romps around the yard. He is up for a casual game of fetch, or is content to simply settle down and enjoy some chew time. Tyson is also quite people-oriented. He looks at his favorite humans like they are the best thing in the world. Though he likes his toys, he is even more passionate about getting butt scratches and pets. This gentle giant also has some manners down. He listens well seems eager to please. Though he is a lumbering 80 lbs and can be strong, volunteers report that he is often shows decent leash manners. Don`t let her adorable pouty mug fool you - Sable is a cheerful sweetheart who is known for being a nonstop wiggle butt. She is always just happy to be out and about and spending time with friends!Lovable Sable is quite people-oriented and enjoys soaking up attention in the form of pets and, hopefully, lots of treats. Just a little sweet talk, and her whole back half starts wagging like crazy. Sable also enjoys stretching her legs on long walks or with some play time. She loves to smell and explore and makes an eager hiking buddy. She also has a blast emptying out the toy bins. Meet Revere, a 5 1/2-year-old Boxer/Terrie mix who’s ready to charm his way into your heart with his lovable quirks and resilience. Revere’s journey to us began after a summer thunderstorm, leaving him in need of medical care. Underweight and nursing a fractured right rear leg, this courageous adventurer has proven himself to be a fighter with a goofy grin that’s impossible to resist. Revere also sports a distinctive head tilt, which has been diagnosed as idiopathic meaning its exact cause remains a mystery. Despite extensive testing ruling out common issues like ear infections and vestibular disease, this adorable tilt has become Revere’s signature look. It doesn’t slow him down one bit; instead, it only adds to his charm! He may not look like your average dog due to his special needs, but this spirited guy takes it all in stride and is one of the happiest dogs in our care & a staff and volunteer favorite! During a foster break from the shelter, his foster mom reported that he was housebroken, loved to cuddle with the kids and play with his stuffies! Revere’s ideal home will be one that understands his unique needs. His medical conditions may require ongoing care, and we’re happy to discuss his journey in detail with you. He’s an affectionate, people-loving pup who thrives on attention and praise. While his heart is big, his social skills with other dogs aren’t quite there yet, so Revere will need to be the only pet in the home. This leggy, slanty walker is ready to share his zest for life with a family that will embrace his quirks and provide him the love and care he deserves.
