Dara is a hoot, but also a homebody, and she is the type of girl who would love to be in her jammies back at home by 8pm. Currently living in a foster home, Dara has shown that she is a great cuddler whose favorite place might just be bundled up in bed. She will even bark to let you know when it`s bedtime and she wants a snuggle. She`s not totally lazy, though. She has a nice, moderate activity level, with bursts of silly zoomie energy on occasion. She enjoys walks and hikes, and is working on being a tugboat on leash - she will at least help you up the hills. Her signature move is wriggling her dumpling self around on her back, partly for the joy of it and partly in case you want to give her belly rubs. Dara could be a little timid meeting new people and visiting new places at first, and she`s really come into her own and her goofy personality shines in a home environment. So if you too feel like a bit of an introvert and are looking for a kindred spirit, Dara is your gal. She is also good in her crate, and totally housebroken. Meet the big friendly galoot that is Tyson! This hilarious goober has a big personality to match his big head. At around 5 years old, Tyson has some manners that come with maturity but retains a very silly spirit to keep you laughing.Tyson is a total goofball and super playful! He loves toys and it`s hilarious to watch his jowls and wrinkles flapping in the breeze when he romps around the yard. He is up for a casual game of fetch, or is content to simply settle down and enjoy some chew time. Tyson is also quite people-oriented. He looks at his favorite humans like they are the best thing in the world. Though he likes his toys, he is even more passionate about getting butt scratches and pets. This gentle giant also has some manners down. He listens well seems eager to please. Though he is a lumbering 80 lbs and can be strong, volunteers report that he is often shows decent leash manners. He also seems house-trained, and he knows how to sit. With other dogs, Tyson was sociable for his play group assessment and he tends to be politely curious passing other dogs on walks.While Tyson certainly has some fun spunkiness, we suspect he would also be grateful to be a couch potato too. Don`t let her adorable pouty mug fool you - Sable is a cheerful sweetheart who is known for being a nonstop wiggle butt. She is always just happy to be out and about and spending time with friends!Lovable Sable is quite people-oriented and enjoys soaking up attention in the form of pets and, hopefully, lots of treats. Just a little sweet talk, and her whole back half starts wagging like crazy. Sable also enjoys stretching her legs on long walks or with some play time. She loves to smell and explore and makes an eager hiking buddy. She also has a blast emptying out the toy bins. With other dogs, she was social in play group, and she has been polite/quiet passing other dogs on walks. Miss Sable has some basics down already. She tends to keep her kennel tidy so we believe she is housebroken, and she knows how to sit (sometimes she`s a little wiggly and forgets to hold still for long). She is enthusiastic about her treats and can be strong on leash sometimes, but is good about settling into a nice pace when reminded. At 69 pounds, she’s a hefty gal who can be strong on leash, but she listens well to guidance and is willing to work for treats. Daisy May has been social with other dogs in playgroup and seems to prefer the company of dogs with chill personalities. She’d also be happy soaking up the attention from her people. Found this guy abandoned at a park. No one claimed him and he wasn't chipped. So we got him his shots and all that, andhave had him for a few years. We (the vet & I) put him at about 8 years old. He loves walks and sunshine! Doesn't chew anything! Not even his toys anymore! He's a great dog, except around small children. But we've been working with him, and he's shown much improvement! We've had him a few years, but he's aggressive toward young children, especially when they start running around. So we unfortunately cannot keep him, for the safety of our kids.
