Where are all my XL Bully lovers at? Well, we’d like to introduce you to our lion, Dandelion. 🌼🌼 Dandelion is a svelte 3-year old XL Bully who has a body of a slinky lion but the disposition of a delicate flower. Dandy is a big ole softy through and through. She’s really sweetheart with a heart of true gold. She’s great in the crate and potty trained. She has a great appetite now that we have figured out her diet. Dandy loves chewing on elk antlers and cuddling with stuffys. She has spouts of energy with zoom-ies and full body spins but for the most part would prefer to lay around and nap. Dandelion doesn’t seem at all interested in getting up on furniture or beds and would prefer to lay on the floor. Due to her size (her range will be about 100-120lb) we are recommending no small dogs or cats and no small children. In terms of friendliness Dandelion is the absolute best. She’s shy at first but she wants to love and be loved. We hope with the right patient owner she will flourish. She would benefit with training, from a basic understanding of controlling her own strength when she gets excited to being able to control herself with another dog in the house consistently. Throughout her time in her foster home she has worked on leash skills with prong, muzzle conditioning, and crate training. She has begun to co-exist with the dogs in the house and has small amounts of play time. We believe with more time and energy spent she will be able to co-exist and live with another dog. But, the adopter who applies needs to be aware that this will not be an immediate thing and will need to be a slow introduction, worked on over time and training. You can see it in her eyes and soul she wants to love on humans and dogs, she has so much energy to give she just hasn’t figured out how to to harness it all into appropriate amounts. She’s worth it. He can play all day or sleep all day... he is happy either way! Guinness is a pit bull terrier/American Bulldog mix better known as an American Bully that weighs around 60 pounds. He is 3 years old. His birthday is 11-17-20. He is a smart and loving companion! He learns the household routines quickly and follows commands and directions. He is food motivated and is eager to please. Guinness loves to be close to his people and is the best snuggler! He is not a barker and walks well on the leash. Like most bulldogs, he needs to be the only dog. He prefers an adult only/quiet household because he indulges in daytime napping. This boy loves to play in moving water like the garden hose and the waves at the beach! He also enjoys meeting new people, wagging his entire hind end in excitement! Car rides are another favorite activity for Guinness! Bluebell is prettier than the flower she is named after. Bluebell is a female American Bulldog mix that weighs around 60-70 pounds. She is estimated to be 1-2 years old. Bluebell was found as a stray. She was very skinny when she came in and just afraid of the world. After a few weeks at the shelter, Bluebell has blossomed into a very loving girl. She is a cuddler that loves pets and hugs. She has a medium energy level. Bluebell will need some time to mend before we see her true personality. She is feeling happier and more outgoing overall. Oakley is fiercely loyal, and when he loves, he loves deeply. He gives you his all. Alone time? Forget it! Oakley will want to be right where you are! Always your sidekick. Be forewarned, he also has a tendency to park his almost 90lb body in your lap and do the cuddles and snuggles ❤ Oakley keeps up on walks and hikes. Don’t walk anywhere near water though, if you are not prepared for the consequences. Oakley will think nothing of jumping in the water! If there are ducks or geese, he will give chase. Duncan is approximately 8 years old and suspected to be part pig part old man. He sleeps most his days, preferably right next to you or in your bed. This might become an issue with some, because he stinks. Duncan has skin issues, he has allergies and is prone to yeast infections in between his toes and his chest area. I adopted Duncan 5 years ago and he has been the best dog. I love him with everything in me, but I am mentally exhausted. I was unaware of Duncan’s skin issues when adopted. it has been a struggle for me financially since. I have done my best, but Duncan is always uncomfortable and struggling with these issues. I have him on aproquel daily, a special diet, and I put ointment on his skin. I have taken him to countless vets, begging for help, and I don’t know what else to do. I am hoping to find someone who will love him and be able to help him. He is such a good dog, full of love and life
