She is full of personality and very affectionate, loves to be rubbed and petted. Loves walks on a leash, although she pulls a little bit, she responds to corrections. She is a bulldog so she has a little stubbornness. But she knows commands. She is a submissive dog and has never I mean never exhibited any aggression to me or anyone else. Again she is submissive to humans and only wants hugs and kisses. She will bark when someone comes to the door but when they come inside she only wants hugs and kisses. Meet Thor! Thor is a 3 year-old Bulldog/pit mix who loves adventure! He want to be going somewhere and doing something with his people! He is very smart and pays close attention to his surrounding. He would thrive in a home that wants to teach him new tricks and take him new places! He is still learning to stay calm when he sees something that excites him, and will need continued training for this. Thor is a very friendly, playful pup, but does seem to prefer female pups. We always recommend a meet n greet with your current dog to ensure that they are a good match! He may be too energetic for small children, so he should be in a home with older children only. He has been around cats and doesn't seem to be bothered by them. He does love to cuddle and loves affection. He also loves going on walks and playing ball and does very well in the car. He can be easily distracted though, and will often bark at people or animals when he's looking out the window. Thor is working on crate training, which is a slow introduction to being in the crate when his people are home, leaving the door open with things that he loves inside, so that he sees the crate is a good safe place for him. He is potty trained and will let you know when he needs to go outside. He is neutered and up to date on his vaccinations. Exercise is important for Thor, as he loves to be doing something, with both his mind and body! He has a moderate to high activity level, so he needs 1-3 hours of moderate activity, like walking or playing ball, or 1-2 hours of high activity, like jogging, running and learning. Thor needs a fenced yard where he can run and play safely. Meet Merlot.  This sweet girl is a 3yr old bulldog mix whose journey has had some bumps along the way.  She was helped out by a local police department and made her way to her foster home, after having been found on the streets while very pregnant.  Merlot soon gave birth to 11, yes 11, puppies known as the Wine Flight Litter.   After having been a devoted momma to all her babies, this loving gal is ready to be pampered herself.    She is a laid back girl who doesn’t mind her foster family and their shenanigans in dressing her up in cute clothes.  She’s crate and potty trained, good on leash, loves to go for car rides and a big fan of being spoiled with treats and yummy wet food.  If you are ready for a loving and deserving gal to join your family, please apply for her today. I love to take walks and I am working on my leash manners as well... There are just so many awesome things out there to see and smell its hard to stay focused. Ummmm it would have to be very slow introductions. I love to run the fence line with the other fosters here and the neighbor dogs.
