Story
Eleanor is the happiest girl around! She loves chasing a tennis ball or carrying around a stuffy toy in her mouth. She is very joyful and can keep herself occupied with a toy. She loves other dogs so much and does great in playgroups so far in our care! She leashes up so easily because she’s excited to go with you, wherever it is. Watch her personality and instantly fall in love: https://youtu.be/_QWX3635OxU?si=XHhPa4bwB_q7tMi_ Eleanor is very cuddly! She’ll get up on the couch and lay out with her head on your lap and just look up at you with her tongue hanging out. She is literally adorable. She is just so happy to be around you. She does calm down and cuddle for movies and bedtime. She knows how to sit for a treat, and she takes treats pretty gently. Overall, she has wonderful house manners and she learns quickly because she just wants to make you happy. Eleanor did great with my kids ages three and five but they are pretty dog savvy with large dogs so if you have kiddos you will want to make sure they are confident because she is a joyful girl who wants to play with toys so the children need to be able to tell her “no”. That’s all it takes. She is eager to please and she will listen. She’ll load up in the car on her own and does great riding in a crate in the car. We have not tried her free roaming yet. Eleanor has a beautiful, soft, shiny coat and so much personality with the looks on her face. She is such a joy to have around. Eleanor is believed to be an American bulldog pittie mix approximately 1 year old and currently weighs 67 lbs. She is a rescue dog with any rescue, it's always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. Eleanor is very dog friendly and wants to be friends with anyone and everything she meets and that includes dogs. She is playful and also respectful of dogs that are not playful. She does great meeting dogs for the first time on leash and you'll even catch her submitting to new dogs. She's a social butterfly and can sometimes come off a little strong when meeting new dogs and little dog but that really is how she meets the world. Eleanor is so happy all the time. She would do great in a home with other dogs or even in a home with out dogs. She doesn't need their company to feel confident or help her open up in new environments. She is confident all on her own! She is miss congeniality. We are willing to test Eleanor Russell with anything you need us to in order to ensure it’s the perfect match for you! We can make anything happen! Just let us know! This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We provide weekly socialization programs for our dogs through playgroups and group leash training classes available to all dogs in our adoption program, and Doggy Sleepover, Doggy Day Out, and Ambassador programs for our boarding dogs. There is a professional dog trainer on staff to provide support for our fosters and dogs, and an off-site dog trainer for dogs that need more extensive behavior modification. This helps us learn deeply about every dog, prepare them for adoption, and ultimately match them with loving families. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 25% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $62 surcharge for transport. Story
This is Atlas. He is 100% American Bully, DNA certified. Neutered, chipped and up to date on shots. He has lots of energy and needs a place that has a yard. He needs a big family who can give him lots of attention. He loves kids and has never shown any signs of aggression. He runs away from small dogs. He has had professional training but is limited on his abilities if you aren’t rigid with the training. I had him trained very keenly, but when I went away for a couple months my kids un-trained him and now he barely does the commands I say. I don’t think it would be hard to retrain, but I’m over it. The kids haven’t held up their part of the bargain and I am not able to give him the love, attention, training, care he deserves. Medical: He has allergies to chicken based foods and is on a high protein lamb diet. He takes 2 allergy pills in the morning everyday (over the counter), these were prescribed by the allergist. If you don’t do this his eyes and paws become very red itchy.

Story
Adoption Fee - $75 Spots is a very handsome Saint Bernard American Bulldog mix that weighs about 80 pounds! He is probably around 6 years old. He absolutely loves people and loves to get attention and belly rubs! He will sit with his head in your lap getting all the head scratches for hours if you let him. He is a goofball and is sure to make you laugh and smile everyday. Spots is a super friendly and outgoing dog. He is good with people that are aged 14 and over! He loves toys, and he also loves to play in water. He is the kind of dog that would love to play in the sprinklers and have his own little pool he can play in. He really loves to play with balls, he will chase them all day. Spots would do best in a home that has a backyard for him to run around in. He has calmed down a good bit as be has gotten older and although still loves to run around the backyard, he is also figuring out that he really likes to just chill sometimes too! Spots is now showing that he can do well with some dogs, that are his size or larger. Spots will need to go to a home that has a strong handler and have owned large dogs before. So far, he has learned place, sit, stay, and lay down. Overall, spots is an amazing dog that is waiting for his forever home. He is very loyal and very friendly with other people. He also is very protective of his home and loves to keep patrol of his yard! He loves toys and water and would make the perfect travel buddy! Please consider spots to be your new forever fur baby! He needs a foster too if you can't commit to adoption! Spots is refreshing his training skills and is back in board and train!
