Brooklyn is both adorable… and adoring! This cutie has a deep love for her people that you’ll feel the moment she looks into your eyes. She’s super tolerant and doesn’t mind being held, cuddled or kissed, and she loves gentle pets and sweet voices. Her nickname is baby for a reason! She is just a big ole baby lookin for love! Brooklyn has this soft and sweet side to her that will surely make her feel like a member of your family in no time. We believe that Brooklyn is an American Staffordshire Terrier, American Bully mix of some sort. She’s estimated to be around 5 years old, and she has so many good dog skills to prove it! She also has great leash manners, and loves to go out in public to the park. When she sees other doggies and squirrels she is sure to always listen to her handler. She is constantly checking in and looking at you to make sure she gets your approval. It’s so endearing. Brooklyn is just one of those dogs that is so happy to get out and about with you. She's beautiful, has the best personality, and brings that Beyonce confidence to the yard that all the boys can't resist. All of Brooklyn's boyfriends are playful, happy go-lucky, goofy guys that love to bounce around, play chase, enjoy the occasional rumble and tumble, and they are also quite the gentleman type that will take play breaks on their own and respect Brooklyn's boundaries when she's done playing. For the most part, Brooklyn is enjoying the sunshine and fresh air while the other pups around her are playing. She loves to hangout and "doggy" watch, she's the dog persona of a "people" watcher LOL. Even when she has found a boyfriend she likes, Brooklyn enjoys their company and will play every so often. In a home, she will do best with a happy go-lucky male that will play with her and also a boy toy that will save a spot for her on the couch. Bonus points if the other dog in the home will snuggle up for a nap right along side her! If you don't have other dogs, that's fine too! She does not need the company of other dogs to help her feel comfortable and open up nor does she need another dog to fulfill her energy needs. She is a confident love bug all on her own and she will be ready for couch snuggles after a leisurely walk in the park. No kitties for Brooklyn too please, she is a little too interested in our house cat Biggie. Eager to please and food-motivated, Brooklyn will be an enjoyable dog to further train. She’s gentle when she takes treats from your hand, but enthusiastically grateful for treats in a way that will melt your heart. Brooklyn is also great at sharing treats with other dogs without jealousy or fear. Brooklyn has also been around kids as young ages 4, 7, and 11 years old and her sweet nature shined through with them as well. She was not phased by the running around, jumping, loud noises, and those random unexpected movements little ones are known for. She never jumped for affection and was gentle all the way around. With Cash, the 7 year old, it was like watching two long lost friends that have known each other their whole lives. She loved spending time with him and you can just tell how comfortable and relaxed she was around him. He walked her on leash, gave her treats, she listened to him when he gave her a command, and she would happily stand there and lean into him while he was hugging her. One thing that every kid has said is their favorite thing about her is how sweet she is and the love how she loves to chase bubbles and chomped at the water hose. I don't know what I love more, those cute little freckles that he has on the top of his nose or his tender-hearted personality. There truly isn't much that I love more than a big dog with teddy bear vibes and that is the best way to describe Milo Freckles. He truly is a big ole softie, a distinguished gentleman, a natural sweetheart with people, kids, and dogs. Honestly everything about is sweet and gentle. He is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it's always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. Milo is incredibly friendly with everyone he meets and has a great appreciation for booty scratches. If you find that perfect spot, he'll even arch his back a little and do this slow body wiggles making sure you get all the right spots. When Milo greets new people, he is more on the shy side but it does not take long for him to be leaning into you for affection and slowing inching his way into your lap. That's why we like to call him a distinguished gentleman because of the way he shows his affection with gentle nudges and thoughtful closeness. He's never over the top either or love bombing you with you kisses. He gives you just enough and will gladly offer more if you ask. It's the perfect mix. Milo dog friendly and did great meeting all of the dogs we introduced her too. His gentle natured personality even shows it self when meeting new dogs. He'll do a little sniff, say hello and then he's off doing his own thing, finding a spot to lay in the grass and bask in the sun, or getting affection by the people in the yard. Milo has met a handful of dogs, all with different personalities and has even been with some wild younger playful dogs and was tolerant of their youthfulness as well. He is not a playful guy with other dogs, he gives off more of the laid back, distinguished gentleman, hang back and watch type vibes around other dogs. He is completely unbothered when other dogs are playing around him having a good time and is even tolerant when the dogs accidentally bump into him during a play session. He just stands there and has this look of, "oh sorry friend, I didn't realize I was in your way." LOL that really is the best way to describe him, a chill laid back gentleman. In a home, Milo would be best placed with a dog that has the same temp as him. A dog that enjoys the company of other dogs, isn't wanting a playmate or interested in playing with other dogs, and will respect that Milo isn't a playful guy. He would also do great as your one and only too if you don't have other dogs. He does not need the company of another dog to help him feel comfortable with other dogs or to fulfill his energy needs. Milo is a loving boy all on his own and he super laid back. He has also spent time with our house cat Biggie and wanted absolutely nothing to do with him. Milo would give Biggie space every time he approached and was even a little scared of Biggie LOL. Almost like he has never seen a cat before and Biggie was some sort of alien and did not have any interest in getting to know him. You'll see in his video where, Biggie jumps on the couch and Milo had the immediate reaction of, "oh gosh, no thank you, I'm gonna leave." It was cute because it just goes to show that Milo is a total baby. We do not know if Milo has ever lived in a home with a cat before nor can we guarantee that things won't change once in the home. We do believe that with slow and proper introductions that Milo has the potential to live harmoniously with a dog-savvy kitty. Want to know where his gentleness also shines? If you guessed with kids, you're absolutely right! Milo has spent time with kids as young as 4 years old to 12 years old and he was such a gentlemen around both of them. The second that he walked into the room and saw Elijah (12) and Kobe (4), he immediately went up to both of them and in the exact same manner that he does with everyone he meets. Cool, calm, and collected, but when he saw the kids and met them, it was almost like a breath of fresh air for with them. You'll see in his video just how relaxed and at peace he was being around both of them. It was the sweetest thing when both of the kids were just doing their own thing and then there's Milo, calmly standing by both of them simply watching what they were doing and the way he found comfort being near them. You'll also see in his video that he had an actual "smile" being around the kids and the way he would love them in the most gentle way. There were moments where Kobe (the 4 year old) started jumping around and we were singing one of his favorite songs and Milo was just there in the background perfectly blending in with the mix of it all. We believe Milo would be a great companion for a family with kids. Milo would do best in a home with a backyard rather than in the heart of the city with all the hustle and bustle. He's more of a Netflix and chill, movie marathon, dinner at home date night type of guy. He'll gladly go on a leisurely walk through your peaceful neighborhood or hangout with you in the back yard while you garden. It doesn't take much for him to make him happy, he's a laid back home body looking for a cozy bed to sleep on and a family to love him. Ohhhhh my gosh I LOVE Brisket! He’s a hunka chunka beefcake of a guy with a heart bigger than his neck! Be prepared to fall in love with this THICC sweetheart Briskey Boi! Brisket comes with a special feature that you can only unlock with booty scratches: tippy taps! He dances his back legs and bops them up and down out of pure joy! Makes me smile just thinking about it. We believe that Brisket is a pittie mix who is about 3 years old and weighs approximately 55 pounds. Due to him being a rescue, age and breed cannot be guaranteed. But that’s what makes rescue exciting! You get to have your very own unique mix of a dog! His beautiful amber eyes and his stout little body immediately stole the show! Be prepared to be showered with compliments as you take this guy out and he struts his stuff! Brisket is not only a charmer with his looks, he is also charming with his personality. When he met some of the other dogs on site, he was so good with all of them! We brought out male and females with a variety of personalities and Brisket was so chill with all of them. He’s just a guy being a dude. He’s a viber. Cool as a cucumber. He wasn’t the one to initiate a race or any roughhousing. But he was totally content with just sharing space with the other dogs. We believe Brisket would be okay with another low to medium energy dog that is has a nice blend of playfulness and chill energy. But honestly, Brisket is so independent that he would be perfectly fine as someone’s one and only. He isn’t going to attest being the sole receiver of all the love and affection, lol. Another bonus about Brisket? He is extremely mindful and gentle, taking treats and he is also kid friendly! When offered treats by numerous people, he took the treat in the same manner every time, gentle and slow. It’s like he knew that he was a big boy and needed to be extra careful with human hands. What a good boy! When he met Elijah, (11) he was in dog heaven. He just loved being showered with scratches and “good boys”. Brisket would do great in a home with older children who understand how to handle thicc doggos who appreciate affection. Brisket does not have long legs meant for galloping. But he does have a heavy step and a healthy voice. He can speak, and he doesn’t mind showing you his cool trick either! Because of this, we believe that he would do best in a home over an apartment lifestyle. He hasn’t been around any cats, but if you have a home that has a cat in it, feel free to let us know and we can see how he does in the presence of a feline. If you haven't watched his video, you need to because it's the cutest thing ever! He also loves treats and will do anything for a treat. He already knows how to sit and was easily guided into a down position when asked as well. He walks well on a leash and is a great car rider too. Although he may need help getting in and out. Bowie can be a little shy at first when meeting new people but once you're in his corner there's no turning back. He really loves when people take the time to get to know him and build trust with him. Which, now that you know the secrets to his heart, you'll be his favorite person before you know it. Bowie is very dog friendly and is in daily play groups which is where is thrives and has the best time ever. One of his favorite games to play is chase. You’ll see him bouncing, bobbing, weaving throughout the dogs and obstacles in the yard and is such a joy to watch. When he’s done playing, he’ll simply go off and do his own thing exploring the yard, enjoying the fresh air, or he can be found splashing around in a nearby kiddie pool. This boy loves the water and has so much fun bouncing in and out of the pool especially if his doggy friends join in on the action. He has a gentle play style with other dogs and will do best in a home with a medium energy aloof playful dog that enjoys playing chase, has a more gentle play style, and also enjoys those calmer moments as well. Bowie would thrive in a home with another dog or even a multi dog household. He really opens up the most when is around other dogs. We do believe that he would be best living in a home with another dog to help him feel comfortable and continue to build his confidence. Bowie has also been around chickens (not free roaming) and did great around them. So if you have any chickens in a coop and looking for a dog that isn't going to be pestering your flock or barking at them through the fencing, Bowie is definitely your guy. Bowie's dream home would be one that enjoys those simple moments in life, are not overly concerned with being the party house in the neighborhood, and looking for loving companion to take on leisurely walks around the neighborhood and snuggle with at night. If you're someone that works from home, Bowie will be perfectly content settling on the floor next to your feet, keeping quiet, never getting into things he shouldn't be, or keeping entertained with his doggy siblings. We do believe that he would be happiest in a home with a backyard that is not directly in the heart of a city with all the hustle and bustle. Bowie he is a gentle sensitive soul and can sometimes startle with quick unexpected movements or loud noises. He would do best in a home with older kids (14+) who respect his space and are more predicable with their movements. If younger kids visit occasionally, he’ll be just fine, as long as his home is generally relaxed. Bowie is just a sweet wittle baby that has so much to learn about the big big world. He will need a home with lots of patience and love to offer him while he settles and acclimates to your home. Bowie can handle the hustle and bustle of a household after getting to know everyone. Bowie is simply careful and thoughtful in new environments. You’ll see him taking little baby steps into new rooms getting his bearings, roaming, exploring and observing everything around him. Winnie is a girl who turns heads without even trying. Main-character energy choose her but that’s not what she identifies at, she is simply a sweet girl with a love for the water, belly-rubs, and as much love as you are willing to share. It has to be acknowledged- she is an absolute stunner! Her blocky bully build, those piercing eyes, and her one-of-a-kind coat pattern, she genuinely stopped a few people mid-sentence when she walked by. Almost everyone stopped what they were doing when she arrived, taking turns to say hi, take a selfie with her, or just give her a quick bit of love. This isn’t a dog you get if you do not want strangers to talk to you. People are going to ask, they are going to compliment, and at the least, they are going to admire. Friendly from the jump, Winnie passes every area we test for with flying colors. And she is walk-ready! With great basic leash skills and an easy pace, she is built for strolls and after-dinner walks. Now I get to tell you about Water Winnie! Once the yard was full of dogs we got to see her natural approach to dog- no matter how playful or wild- she did her own thing and was so unbothered by it all. She’s definitely dog-social, but her heart belongs to people. She thrives on affection and would be happiest as the only dog in the home—where she doesn’t have to share the spotlight or the cuddles. Winnie is both house and crate-trained, and has a gentle, easygoing temperament that makes her adaptable to either a house with a yard or apartment life. But no cats—Winnie was a bit too eager meeting our house cat, so we are suggesting a cat-free home. But that’s an area that doesn’t effect her grade or how perfect we think she is. I'm Roobie, I'm a happy 8 year old clown full of lightning fast zoomies and those classic bull terrier spins. Life excites me. I know all the usual commands. Walkies?! Yes, please! I swim great! Mom says I'm a great companion in a woodshop. I get along with the my extended dog family. Is someone at the door? I'll sound tough so you feel safe but I'm not a real barker. I'm resilient, I survived distemper as a puppy, but I'm still a princess. I like sweaters, soft dog beds, watching TV, and companionship. I love my family and they love me (since I was 1 y/o) but I need to adopt a new family because my human has a disability and my spins occasionally knock into her and her disability is worsening kinda fast now. I'm a good girl. I'd do well in a loving active house, probably with another dog or with older kids that won't fall.
