Story
Mila is a very sweet dog. She loves to cuddle and stay close to people. She has a boisterous personality and lots of enthusiasm. She is trained on potty pads but needs someone to help her transition to outside potty habits. She is comfortable staying in a kennel and doesn't bark to get out. She walks well on a leash also. She has her rabies shot. We are re-homing her because we think she would be better as an only dog. She mostly gets along with our other dogs but can get jealous and aggressive over food/treats. She doesn't bite our cats, but she tries to pounce on them and play with them which the cats don't seem to like. Mila is almost a year and a half years old and we have had her for about 9 months. We are sad to re-home her but the tension isn't good between her and our older dog. We really want her to go to a loving home with a family that can give her lots of time and attention. You'll be rewarded with a very loyal friend.

Story
Meet Bodega! Bodega is a friendly, social pup. He’s great with most other dogs, knows sit and shake, and is incredibly gentle with food. He’s also kennel and potty trained—he’ll sit by the door to let you know when he needs to go out. This big guy is full of love and thinks he’s a lap dog! He adores pets and attention and needs an owner strong enough to handle him and who won't be crushed under him haha. He is a good boy, and a large boy! Because of his size, he’s not recommended for homes with small children. Bodega would make a loyal, affectionate companion. Could he be the perfect addition to your home?

Story
That face that you fell for is the happy-go-lucky heartthrob we call Charlie. He is the kind of dog that meets the world with a big ol’ smile and all the wiggle-wag one dog can physically create. He is a goofball with bouncy joy, the cutest charm, and some amazing cuddles. Charlie is estimated to be just over one-year-old, he weighs 50-pounds, and we think he is a bit of a lab/bulldog mix but truthfully we can’t say for sure given he is a rescue. The only test I could run showed he is 100% sunshine and sweetness. See for yourself then come back to read more- https://youtu.be/sQRj9YmGuG4 Charlie is a friendly boy that makes it hard not to fall for him immediately. After I spent the day with him I didn’t want him to go- I had fallen for him. He is instantly affectionate and melts into a puddle of belly rub seeking butter. If he doesn’t melt you will feel him lean into you for hugs, and he will even let you scoop him up for an extra sweet cuddle. This guy’s happy energy is contagious and that doesn’t stop with people, he is just as thrilled to make new dog friends as he is to be by your side. The afternoon we spent with Charlie we introduced him to a wide variety of dogs to get a feel for his play style and the types of dogs he enjoys most. It didn’t take long at all for us to be impressed with how friendly and welcoming he was. Even when other dogs came in a little hot or pushy, Charlie handled it with grace. With the right dog, an equally bouncy, playful dog, he showed us he loves a bit of bouncy, physical play but it isn’t his constant. He was comfortable enough to lay down beside brand-new dogs a sign of total trust. He’s the type who only joins in play when invited and isn’t going to push his way in as a third wheel or shut down the fun for them. He isn’t going to cause a stir but will always try to help keep the vibes tuned to fun-loving, calm joy. Charlie does need some leash work, he has the basics down and honestly I feel like I am betraying him to say such a thing because it didn’t bother me one bit. All I could see was a happy boy who was just so excited to explore the world! The more he gets to experience and enjoy the better he will be at pacing himself . That and some practice (and maybe a few treats to reward him for checking-in and walking by your side), he will learn quickly. He is a smart boy, eager to please, and already shows how well he responds when guided gently. He will bond fast and deep with his people. During the time we spent with him, the first person who interacted with him as his handler walked out of the yard, he stayed by the gate waiting- a loyal love bug through and through. Because of that devotion, he may miss you when you go at first, its natural, but with time and routine he will settle into knowing his favorite people always come home. Charlie would do best in a home with a yard and another playful, medium-energy dog to run and romp with. He could adjust to apartment living once his leash manners are polished as long as he gets plenty of playtime and adventures to meet his mental and physical needs. No cats for Charlie though, his eager friendliness does not vibe with cats. We all know cats- if you’re too eager they don’t care for you and that goes for dogs too. Charlie gets to focus his love and happiness towards people and dogs. If you’re looking for a happy, loving, goofy companion who’ll make every day so much better, Charlie’s your guy. One look into that glowing, goofy face and you’ll know -his boy was made to love you. Ready to welcome some sunshine into your life? Story
This sweet angel is Lizzie! You don’t want to miss out on this big girl with an even bigger heart! We believe Lizzie is an XL American Bully mix—of course, with rescue, that’s just our best guess! At 5 years old, she’s still a big goofball who brings laughs and love everywhere she goes. Especially with her famous happy hops. She just hops and hops around the house when she’s happy to see you! Gosh, my cheeks hurt just thinking about how big I’d be smiling if I came home to that every day! Maybe there’s some bunny DNA in there? Lizzie is smart as a whip—she knows sit and even shake! She never says no to a snack (like, ever), which makes training fun and easy for everyone involved. And by everyone, we mean kids too! Lizzie recently met a baby and an 8-year-old and definitely prefers the older kiddos who are steady on their feet. She was so gentle taking treats from the 8-year-old, and they ended their meet-up with a cuddle sesh on the couch. Her cuddles? Immaculate. Though she does think she’s a lap dog… classic Lizzie! See her adorable, heartwarming video here: https://youtu.be/zzlwNqUrT_I?si=wBvitVgcUxGS0ZpE Bath time? No problem! She’s a champ and enjoys the extra pampering. She’s fully housebroken, trusted to free roam, and has never been destructive (even with toys!). At night, she cozies up in bed, but she’s also crate trained and does well when crated. Lizzie is still working on her leash skills, so a home with a yard would be ideal while she perfects her walk game. She’s a big girl who loves to sniff around, sunbathe on the porch, and chill nearby while you sip your morning coffee or putter around the garden. Wherever you are, Lizzie just wants to be part of it. She's that kind of dog—the one who makes everything better just by being there. To set Lizzie up for success, she’s looking for an experienced handler who can confidently guide her in her next chapter. While she adores her people, Lizzie is looking to be the one and only pet in the home—a queen without competition! She thrives in a calm, structured environment where she can feel safe, loved, and totally doted on (her favorite thing). Ready to welcome a lovable, goofy, sunbathing, ride-or-die girl into your life? Lizzie's waiting with a heart full of love and the best happy hops you've ever seen.
