Story
Spade is a wonderful dog with a big heart and lots of energy. He’s playful, loyal, and loves being active. Spade would thrive in a home where he has plenty of room to run, and he’d do especially well on a farm or property with land. He enjoys people, loves attention, and is always ready for an adventure. His original owner has recently gotten older and is preparing to move, and sadly can no longer give Spade the active lifestyle he deserves. This is a very loved dog who simply needs a home where he can be active, engaged, and part of a family again. If you’re looking for a fun, energetic companion who will stay by your side, Spade is an amazing dog who will make a great addition to the right home.

Story
Meet Bodega! Bodega is a friendly, social pup. He’s great with most other dogs, knows sit and shake, and is incredibly gentle with food. He’s also kennel and potty trained—he’ll sit by the door to let you know when he needs to go out. This big guy is full of love and thinks he’s a lap dog! He adores pets and attention and needs an owner strong enough to handle him and who won't be crushed under him haha. He is a good boy, and a large boy! Because of his size, he’s not recommended for homes with small children. Bodega would make a loyal, affectionate companion. Could he be the perfect addition to your home?

Story
That face that you fell for is the happy-go-lucky heartthrob we call Charlie. He is the kind of dog that meets the world with a big ol’ smile and all the wiggle-wag one dog can physically create. He is a goofball with bouncy joy, the cutest charm, and some amazing cuddles. Charlie is estimated to be just over one-year-old, he weighs 50-pounds, and we think he is a bit of a lab/bulldog mix but truthfully we can’t say for sure given he is a rescue. The only test I could run showed he is 100% sunshine and sweetness. See for yourself then come back to read more- https://youtu.be/sQRj9YmGuG4 Charlie is a friendly boy that makes it hard not to fall for him immediately. After I spent the day with him I didn’t want him to go- I had fallen for him. He is instantly affectionate and melts into a puddle of belly rub seeking butter. If he doesn’t melt you will feel him lean into you for hugs, and he will even let you scoop him up for an extra sweet cuddle. This guy’s happy energy is contagious and that doesn’t stop with people, he is just as thrilled to make new dog friends as he is to be by your side. The afternoon we spent with Charlie we introduced him to a wide variety of dogs to get a feel for his play style and the types of dogs he enjoys most. It didn’t take long at all for us to be impressed with how friendly and welcoming he was. Even when other dogs came in a little hot or pushy, Charlie handled it with grace. With the right dog, an equally bouncy, playful dog, he showed us he loves a bit of bouncy, physical play but it isn’t his constant. He was comfortable enough to lay down beside brand-new dogs a sign of total trust. He’s the type who only joins in play when invited and isn’t going to push his way in as a third wheel or shut down the fun for them. He isn’t going to cause a stir but will always try to help keep the vibes tuned to fun-loving, calm joy. Charlie does need some leash work, he has the basics down and honestly I feel like I am betraying him to say such a thing because it didn’t bother me one bit. All I could see was a happy boy who was just so excited to explore the world! The more he gets to experience and enjoy the better he will be at pacing himself . That and some practice (and maybe a few treats to reward him for checking-in and walking by your side), he will learn quickly. He is a smart boy, eager to please, and already shows how well he responds when guided gently. He will bond fast and deep with his people. During the time we spent with him, the first person who interacted with him as his handler walked out of the yard, he stayed by the gate waiting- a loyal love bug through and through. Because of that devotion, he may miss you when you go at first, its natural, but with time and routine he will settle into knowing his favorite people always come home. Charlie would do best in a home with a yard and another playful, medium-energy dog to run and romp with. He could adjust to apartment living once his leash manners are polished as long as he gets plenty of playtime and adventures to meet his mental and physical needs. No cats for Charlie though, his eager friendliness does not vibe with cats. We all know cats- if you’re too eager they don’t care for you and that goes for dogs too. Charlie gets to focus his love and happiness towards people and dogs. If you’re looking for a happy, loving, goofy companion who’ll make every day so much better, Charlie’s your guy. One look into that glowing, goofy face and you’ll know -his boy was made to love you. Ready to welcome some sunshine into your life? Story
🌸 Meet Faith — the Queen of Couch Kingdom! 🌸 How could anyone not be in love with Faith’s big, joyful, smooshy grin? This three-year-old American Bully/Pit mix (we think!) is the definition of self-assured sweetness — she walks into every room like she’s the guest of honor (and honestly, she is). Faith doesn’t need permission to shine — she’s already doing it. Faith is the kind of dog who claims the couch five minutes after meeting you, plops down like she’s lived there forever, and somehow convinces you it was her spot all along. She’s got that “main character” energy — proud, funny, and just a little dramatic in the best way possible. When it comes to personality, Faith is a perfect mix of sass and snuggles. She’s affectionate, silly, and endlessly charming. She loves snacks (she’d probably do your taxes for a treat), and she’s ridiculously expressive — from her big happy smile to her “I deserve another cookie” eyes. You can’t stay serious around her; she’s too funny, too loving, too Faith. Watch Faith's personality shine in her video! https://youtu.be/RZYbr1XjAl4?si=rmjN3IyB1NW5Tk5Z She’s done beautifully with other dogs in her tests — she’s confident but polite, and she tends to vibe best with a goofy, easygoing male who doesn’t mind a bossy girlfriend. She’s great about sharing space and even food, as long as everyone remembers that Faith is, of course, the star of the show. Her cat test was inconclusive, which is just Faith’s way of saying, “I could go either way — I’m mysterious like that.” So if you’ve got a kitty and you’ve fallen in love with her smile (understandable), we’ll be happy to give it another try. Faith is also surprisingly low-maintenance for such a queen. She’s good on leash and burns off her zoomies pretty quickly — then it’s time for her next favorite activity: looking beautiful on the furniture. She could do great in an apartment, but she’d adore a yard too, somewhere she can do her little confident strut before curling up in the shade like royalty surveying her land. Hot weather? Not her thing. She’s built for comfort, not competition — the plush blanket of dogs. But give her a cool day, a car ride, and her favorite humans, and she’ll be the happiest little adventure buddy around. Faith isn’t just a dog — she’s a personality. She’s a comedian, a cuddle connoisseur, and a reminder that confidence and kindness can totally coexist. She’ll make you laugh, she’ll melt your heart, and she’ll definitely claim your couch. If you’re looking for a dog who’s equal parts hilarious, huggable, and head-over-paws in love with life — your girl’s name is Faith. 💗 Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Story
**Now Fostered in Norton MA!** This 1-year-old cutie has a one-of-a-kind look — from her black and tan coat to her adorable little apostrophe eyebrows that always seem to have something to say! Weighing around 50 lbs, Darcy is the perfect mix of playful energy and snuggly sweetness. Darcy had a DNA test done, revealing that she is a unique mix of multiple breeds including American Bulldog and Australian Cattle Dog! She currently lives with three kids (ages 5 and 10) and loves being part of the family action. Fetch? Tug-o-war? Count her in! When playtime’s over, she’s all about curling up with her humans for a good cuddle. Darcy is dog friendly and would love a moderate-energy male doggy friend to play and hang out with. She’s food motivated, knows her basic commands, and is both potty and crate trained. She’s a big fan of peanut butter (naturally!) and loves toys that make her think — puzzle feeders, treat balls, you name it. A tired dog is a happy dog, and Darcy loves to stay active both mentally and physically. Since she’s still young and on the higher-energy side, an active adopter or family with a yard would be ideal to help her thrive. She’ll happily alert you with a bark when something’s up, but mostly she’s focused on having fun and being with her people. With continued training and socialization, Darcy will blossom into the best version of herself — loyal, loving, and full of life. Application link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/6761a7ea5071206e310267fa Please email kathleen@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions. Available for adoption in NV, MT, CO, UT, ID, OR, WA, Canada, and now the East Coast! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24-hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you! The adoption fee is $900 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30-day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8-week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 7-year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 18,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $74 surcharge for transport.
