She was found as a stray after being on her own over 2 months traversing a busy area of a downtown city area. As soon as we captured her via trap she let her guard down and we saw her true sweet personality. Someone loved her at some point as she knows all basic commands Sit lay down speak and more. She lives a good tug o war car rides and she seems to find calm in a crate for breaks. Baby girl is a bit of a Diva and likes to make herself known :) Baby Girl has a skin issue that comes and goes to which comes and goes and is under vet care for. Hazel is a 3-year-old, 77 lbs, American Bulldog. She is crate and potty-trained. Hazel is current on all vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped. Her temperament is super sweet. She will sit for you on command to go out the front door, and she will sit before coming back in, once she calms down. She is extremely playful and does not have a mean bone in her body. She does have a high prey drive so you use be very strong to walk her. It is best that you let her run in a fenced yard and chase to her heart's content. Leash training is recommended as she is very strong. Hazel needs to be crated when she’s not supervised because she will chew anything and that could be very dangerous for her. Walter is a sweet senior gentleman who wants nothing more than to be someone’s everything. He loves his humans with his whole heart and his loyalty is unmatched. Because of his need to be the center of attention at all times, he would prefer to be the only pet in the home and would enjoy a lower traffic household where he can relax during his golden years. He is potty trained, knows his commands, walks perfectly on the leash, and has great house manners. He is non- destructive, quiet, can stay loose in the house when home alone, is also crate trained and will sometimes choose to sleep in his crate if the door is left open for him. Whether you enjoy relaxing on the couch or taking a stroll through the park, Walter is your guy and wants nothing more than to be by your side at all times. Fiona is a 74 lb American Bulldog between 6-8 years old. She is spayed, fully vetted and currently doing slow kill Heartworm treatment (the rescue will pay for Heartworm prevention until she tests negative). Fiona is crate and house trained and low/medium energy. Absolutely no cats. She is very smart (knows basic command) and wonderful on a leash. Natural nurturer and funny quirky personality. Fiona would do great in a family with kids 8 yrs and up. She loves to go for car rides, kids (8 and older), other dogs need to be relaxed. She loves to cuddle and talk. Don’t let the small size fool you - this little handsome chunk of cuddles, love and cuteness is 70lbs and approximately an 3-4 years Shai is crate trained, potty trained dog friendly with a submissive dog, loves all humans but because of his size no younger children. He is a bit strong on the leash, and LOVES car rides and adventures. He does need more work on basic commands and proper greetings with people (friendly, but overly excited and jumps); however, you can get him to focus and learn/train quickly with treats (very treat motivated). Someone with breed and/or brachycephalic knowledge would be a bonus; but, if not, we do ask that you study up on brachycephalic dog care (they can NOT get overheated is just one example). Meet Zeus. Zeus is a strong, goofy, loving 2.5 yr old big boy. He loves attention, playing, snuggling and treats. Zeus is a protector and will follow you from room to room. Making sure you are ok. He is such a love bug, he is always trying to please you. Zeus is a muscle dog and would do very well with someone who is in shape that can handle his size. Zeus is 84 lbs. He is crate and house trained. He loves car rides and just being with you.. Zeus loves attention, walks, and playing tug of war. Zeus smiles when he looks at you. Zeus does get along with my dog but being the only dog would probably be better since he wants all the attention. No cats or small young children in the house. He should be in a home with children over 14z. Zeus needs a fenced in yard and preferably someone who understands the breed and understand he is very strong. Zeus is UTD on shots and neutered. He is an amazing dog looking for that amazing home. He is Heartworm positive but is being treated the slow kill method. Uno is a 2.5 year old love bug in need of a new home. He currently resides with three little dogs that over time have formed a pack against him. They bark and nip at him . This has caused him to become anxious to the point he lashed out at one of them. Since it is better for him to be in a new situation than be secluded from the family, we’ve decided it’s best for him to be in a home free of small obnoxious dogs. Uno is a boxer, American bulldog, sporting dog and hound mix, with other breeds thrown in. He is about 90 lbs, neutered and up to date on all vaccines. He is housebroken and knows basic commands such as sit, here, leave it, and give. He loves to walk around with a stuffed toy in his mouth. If he could, he’d lay on the sofa all day. He is a gentleman in the house. He is not a barker. He is highly food motivated and easy to train. He will pull on a leash but does not pull if a harness is used. He is ok in a car on short trips but has gotten car sick in the past. He is terrified of thunder storms but will not destroy stuff. UNO’s ideal home would be by himself or with a calm dog his own size. A meet and greet is encouraged. He has done well with the cat but not sure about other cats. No small animals like rabbits as he has a prey drive . But Ok with caged birds. Older children are fine. He is too clumsy and food motivated to be around small children.
