Story
Hi, I’m Wicket! 36 lbs • 2 years old • Professional Good Boy They say I’ve got a few “strikes” against me… I’m black, I’m grown, and I’m a bully mix. But you know what? I’m really hoping someone out there is willing to look past all that and see ME — a sweet, goofy, people-loving pup who just wants a family to call my own. &#226&#157&#164&#239&#184&#143 I love every human I meet, and I’m great with other dogs too! I’m the kind of guy who just wants to make you smile, go on adventures, and snuggle after a long day. My adoption fee is sponsored and only $20, and that covers me being neutered and getting all my vaccines before I go home with you. I’m really hoping you’ll come meet me… I promise I’m worth it. If you’d like to meet me (and I really hope you do!), please call 256-362-5856 to schedule an appointment.December 23, 2025, 1:57 pm

💗 Serena – A Gentle Soul Waiting for Her Turn to Shine 💗 Serena’s story isn’t loud or flashy — it’s quiet, soft, and full of hope. This 1½-year-old, 42.6 lb sweetheart is timid at first, the kind of girl who watches the world carefully before deciding it’s safe to trust. But once she does… her whole heart is yours. Behind those shy eyes is the most loving spirit — one that craves gentle hands, kind voices, and a place where she finally belongs. Serena adores toys and finds joy in simple play, especially when she knows someone is cheering her on. She gets along beautifully with other dogs and would blossom even more with a confident canine friend or a patient human who understands that love takes time. Her adoption fee of $20 includes her spay, rabies and distemper/parvo vaccines, fecal test for parasites, basic dewormer, and a full vet exam — everything she needs to start her new life healthy and loved. Serena has waited so patiently for someone to see her for who she is — a gentle, loyal heart just longing for home. 🩷 If you’d like to meet Serena and help her story finally have a happy ending, please call 256-362-5856 to schedule an appointment.

Story
Meet Peppermint Patty! This adorable girl found herself at the shelter as a stray and, sadly, was never reclaimed—but she hasn’t let that dim her sparkle one bit. Peppermint Patty is estimated to be around 3 years old, weighs 57.4 lbs, and is the perfect mix of playful fun and cuddle-seeking sweetheart. She loves attention and will happily soak up all the pets you’re willing to give. She seems to do well with other dogs, but we always recommend bringing your pup along for a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone gets along. Her adoption fee is sponsored and reduced to just $20! That includes her spay, vet exam, one set of vaccines (including rabies), a fecal test for parasites, and general dewormer—all completed before she goes home. If you’d like to meet this precious girl and maybe fall a little in love, please call to schedule an appointment at 256-362-5856. Peppermint Patty is ready to be someone’s happily-ever-afterJanuary 6, 2026, 2:36 pm

Meet Fridge – Your Lovable, Roadside Rescued Best Friend! Fridge isn’t just a name—it’s a whole vibe. This sweet, gentle Pitbull mix was found on the side of the road and has since been on a weight loss journey, proving that second chances (and fewer snacks) can lead to something amazing. Fridge is the neighborhood favorite, winning over kids and adults alike with his calm, friendly demeanor. He’s the perfect mix of laid-back and social, always happy to greet new friends with a wagging tail. In his foster home, he’s been a dream companion, living peacefully with two other dogs and a child. He’s neutral around other dogs, making him an easy addition to a home with existing pets. While Fridge loves a good nap and cuddle session, he’s also discovering his adventurous side! He’s developed a real love for walks and enjoys exploring the outdoors. His foster family says he’s getting more playful every day, even starting to show interest in toys—a big step for this previously overlooked pup. When he’s not out stretching his legs or testing out his growing toy collection, Fridge is a true cuddle bug, always ready for some cozy downtime with his humans. He’s looking for a forever home where he can continue his journey—with love, companionship, and plenty of time for walks and play. Could Fridge be the missing piece in your life?
