Story
Hi, I am Bobby and I am deaf. I don`t say this so that you will feel sorry for me, because I have probably always been deaf; but it is important for you to know so that we can begin our communication together in a productive way. I am really smart and learn quickly. I have been working with a local dog trainer and her team and am getting really good at hand signals. Recently, they trained me that shining a flashlight in my direction means that they want me to pay attention. This local dog trainer is willing to give you three free lessons so that we can start to communicate with each other faster. It would really need to be you and me because I can be dog selective (the looks of some dogs scare me), so I would do best as an only dog or would need to meet any other dogs in the home before adoption. Its also important to know that I like to chase cats so I need a home without them. If you have a special place in your heart for a dog with my special gifts, then I can`t wait to meet you!

Story
Patches is an outgoing and energetic pup that loves to play chase, believes she's bigger than she is, and doesn't believe that personal space is real. Patches is good with other dogs and kids, and is working on her house and kennel training. Always down for cuddles from kids and adults, this happy girl would make a wonderful addition to an active home that can provide her with daily exercise and endless snuggles. Patches is a 6-month-old mixed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog is current on vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed. This dog is good with other dogs and children. She is working on kennel training, housebreaking, and house etiquette. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if it might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525). For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772, or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned. Thank you for choosing adoption! Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Friends, say hello to Turkey. To get straight to the point - he isn't getting much adoption attention because he's a pit bull. Adopters don't gravitate towards the bully breeds like they do poodles and labs. And while he might not be hypoallergenic or a state swim champion, he's a complete delight, and a foster home favourite. Turkey is happy, outgoing, and social. He loves to run and play. He loves food. He loves cuddling and doesn't care if he's too big for your lap. He loves to romp about, toss his toys in the air, and sneak your shoes off to his bed. (He won't chew on them, he's simply a sneakerhead that appreciates good footwear.) Turkey lives harmoniously in foster care with multiple dogs - of varying ages and sizes. He takes cues well, snuggles with the senior chihuahuas and wrestles with the juvenile shepherd mix. Turkey's one knock is he gets excitable when seeing other dogs on leash. Between Pterodactyl screeches and pulling on his leash, he can be a bit much to the untrained eye. Fortunately, with the incredible help of our trainer, his foster home has made remarkable progress and his dog-sighting leash skills are turning a corner. (Our trainer has also extended her help with any leashed dog introductions for adoption meet-and-greets.) Turkey is kennel trained, potty trained, and an excellent playmate for other bouncy dogs. While we don't know how he is with cats, and we don't think he would eat one, we can't imagine there's a cat out there that will appreciate his hijinks. Turkey is polite in his foster home, makes a perfect co-pilot for car rides, and even waits his turn for snacks until his name is called. If you're looking for a loyal sidekick, weighted blanket, and never ending tail wag, head to our website (www.bounceanimalrescue.org) to fill out an adoption application. Turkey is a 9-month-old mixed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog is current on vaccinations, microchipped, 4DX tested, and neutered. This dog is also tested with other dogs, kennel trained, and housebroken. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if it might be a good fit for your home. Bruce is your one-and-only lovebug who is ready to snuggle or go on endless sunset walks with you. His adoring eyes and endless hugs and kisses just melt your heart. His only desire is to please you and bring you joy. He loves car rides, making new friends, loves kids and everyone he meets. He lives harmoniously in foster care with a resident 68lb Shar pei, and a 10lb Shih tzu, and is a friend to all! Bruce is eager to learn and thrives with positive reinforcement. He is potty trained and proudly shows off that he knows to sit and patiently wait for his turn for treats. Bruce sleeps through the night until you are ready to wake up, prefers to snuggle in bed or will sleep in his own bed nearby. Bruce is kennel-trained, and will patiently wait for your return as long as you reassure him you will be right back. Bruce would do best with a fenced yard.
