Story
Lady, affectionately known as Peppa Pig (or just Pig😉) is a happy-go-lucky, snorty, sweet 4 to 5 year old pit bull terrier. She loves to play in the water, zooming around the yard, and be with her people. She is crate trained and house trained. She responds well to training and is eager to please. She walks well on a leash and loves to be outside to get her sniffs and snorts in. She loves going to daycare and all of her people at daycare. She loves a routine and knowing what to expect. When she first came into rescue, she was very afraid of new people and situations and became pretty shut down. Since being in a foster home, she has gained confidence and has really started to blossom. She is learning that life is GOOD, and she doesn't need to be afraid. She is a sweet, sweet, goofy girl, and she can be talked through things when she is unsure instead of growling. We would like to see her in a home with a strong leader that will continue to keep her safe, that she can trust to be in charge. She is a strong girl at 78 pounds, especially if she is unsure of a person, another dog, or her surroundings. For this reason, we are recommending that for now she be an only dog and no children in order to keep everyone safe and keep her on the path to success. We would love to talk with a forever home about her and answer questions. This beautiful girl is so sweet and full of love. She is ready to have a furever home.

Story
Meet Honey, a sweet and playful dog who will steal your heart with just one wag of her tail. She is guessed to be an Pitbull mix. This young 1-2 year old, is a true gem with a heart of gold. As an altered and fully vaccinated dog, Honey is healthy and ready to move on her way to proper socializing and learning about how to play with other dogs, making her the perfect addition to any loving family. Although she has a few canine friends she loves, she hasn’t had proper socialization, so she’s a little turkey when first meeting a new dog. A slow intro and going very slow will be necessary to give her the right start with new dogs. She comes on too strong and quick and doesn’t have boundaries, which can be off putting to other dogs sometimes. So, for now, we think she would do best as an only dog but she definitely has the ability and potential to learn how to play well with others, she just hasn’t yet been taught how! Once she learns some proper socializing we’re confident she can get along well with others! Honey has a gorgeous golden coat that shines in the sun. She loves to snuggle up and relax, and her favorite pastime is cuddling with her humans. This adorable pup is also great with kids, making her an ideal companion for families with little ones. She will gladly join in any game of fetch or tug-of-war. Honey's friendly and outgoing personality will quickly make her a beloved member of any household. Not only is Honey a loving and fun companion, but she is also on her way to being a very good girl, making her a pleasure to have around. Whether it's a trip to the park or a lazy day at home, Honey will be by your side, ready for any adventure. Don't let this amazing dog slip through your fingers, come meet Honey today and make her a part of your forever home!

Story
This beefcake is the sweetest of hippos. She’s currently about 10-15 lbs overweight, but her joints haven’t shown signs of issues yet, so with some exercise and the right diet, will be healthy at 50-60 lb. Her story is sad but common. She seems to have been kept outside most of her life and was dumped with another dog at the local shelter in Kansas when her former owner moved and didn’t want to take them with. You wouldn’t be able to tell from her great personality though! She’s very dog and kid friendly. She has a medium energy level - seems to want to play but also just curl up with you and chill. She walks pretty well on a leash too but is a big girl, so will need someone on the other end of the leash that asserts control. This gentle potbelly pig of a pittie girl would love to meet you. She’s currently at our site in Windsor. Come meet her and show her what a REAL home feels like!

Story
Scooby is a 2 year old female pit bull terrier, looking for a new home. She is an extremely friendly and cuddly dog - although struggles with separation anxiety and requires more attention than I can give her. I am a working college student with limited time to spend with her; I believe she needs a home with a loving family, a yard, and no other pets who can provide her with exactly that. She is neutered and is up to date with all of her shots as well as a microchip. She has everything from a cage, leashes, harnesses, toys, bedding, food, treats, clothes, collars, and hygiene items. She is an amazing dog and I want to keep her more than anything, but know what is going to be best for her. If you are interested, I would like to meet and talk with you before making any final decision.

Story
Simba is a 9 year old Pitbull Mastiff mix. He is a great dog and loves people. Unfortunately, he is just a better dog with no other pets. He is protective and scared of thunder and fireworks. He loves kids and women. He needs to be someone who will have more time for him and love him. Honestly a single male or female. I honestly love this dog so much but he keeps hurting our other two dogs and he needs to be alone. He loves tug a war and ropes and Kong toys. He loves the bones with the fillings on the inside. He loves to snuggle and sleep in the bed with you. He has been crate trained and he normally wears a harness. He is a great dog and so happy and when he wags his tail he shakes his whole body. He loves to play fetch and then not give you the toy back. He has never attacked a human but he has attacked other dogs especially male dogs.

Story
Cece is the perfect little pocket pitty. She is very cautious when it comes to new people- but when given time and space she warms up nicely and wants nothing but love. She is cat, kid, and dog friendly, potty and house trained, and incredibly food motivated. She loves to learn and is such a good listener (obviously, look at those ears!) Cece would do very well in an active home with lots of friends (furry or human) to play with- as well as a home who is willing to work with her timid tendencies. Cece is a 3-year-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $250 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX test, and spay. This dog is also tested with other dogs and cats, is kennel trained, and housebroken. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if it might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525). For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772, or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned. Thank you for choosing adoption!
