Story
Chico has always been a good dog. He has just gotten so neglected in the past year and I feel so bad I’m not around enough to tend to his needs. I’m really hoping there’s someone out there who can love him & he can live in his last few years…it’s very difficult for me. But he deserves a better life than to be home alone while I’m out working and being a single parent.

Story
Courtesy Post - This is not a Street Paws animal but we are assisting a family with placing their pet.  Ringo is as cute as he can be. At 1 year old, he’s full of puppy energy and loves to be active and playful, but he will never fail to sit still for a treat! Food is definitely his #1 love language as he’s a growing young boy, but physical touch comes in at a close #2. He loves kisses and hugs as often as he can get them! He’s a happy, bouncy, loving boy who is learning new things quickly and will be a wonderfully sweet and loyal companion. Adoptions are limited to an approximately 150 mile radius from Locust Grove, GA, certain circumstances may allow exceptions.  Adoption fee is $250 To apply to adopt this pet, please fill out a Preliminary Adoption Application at  https://www.streetpaws.org/home/adopt.     This application does not commit you to an adoption. It is used to screen those interested to make sure the home is a good match for the pet and your family. We verify vet history on current/previous pets to ensure pets have been spayed/neutered and vaccinated annually. Please call your vet to give permission for us to call them. If more information is needed regarding the pet email info@streetpaws.org. You must complete the pre-application to obtain approval to meet the pet.  April 23, 2024, 6:46 pm

Story
Hello, I found Coco awhile back. I posted her in hopes that I could find her owner. However no one claimed her. So I’ve been trying to find someone to take her in. She is a very sweet dog. But I can tell she may have a bad background. She has very nervous energy and did not know any common commands when I found her. I’m not sure how old she is. The vet thinks she may be 3 years old. She now is crate trained, knows the basic commands and really just loves to be around you. I have two other dogs. One whom she does not get along with, and the other she loves to play with. She isn’t good with my female German shepherd. But does very well with my male Alaskan malamute. So maybe if you have a friendly male dog she will be okay going to a home with another dog. I’m not too sure how she would do with cats. Please let me know if you would like to take her. I really don’t want to take her to the shelter. But I just can’t keep her with her not getting along with my female shepherd.

Story
Cozo is a nearly 1.5 year old Exotic Bully. It's a newer breed type that is a mix of other bully breeds. I purchased him at 8 weeks from a friend who had a beautiful litter of pups. He is a sweetheart and has never been aggressive to my young children, but because of a upcoming new addition to the family. I am unable to ensure all of the care and attention he deserves. Hoping to find a home with an older family and a yard where he can play with all the sticks his heart desires. Deciding to rehome Cozo has been a tough decision for my family, but my children are to small with a newborn on the way. I hope he goes to a home that can give him much more attention regularly.
