Meet Olly!  We picked the name OLLY after Olly Murs who has the happiest song “Dance with me tonight!” It sure suits this precious soul - despite what he’s already gone through in the year or so of his life. Olly has touched our hearts already and we KNOW that whoever he meets will be touched by him as well. He’s the true epitome of the gifts dogs give us. They live in the moment and FORGIVE. Whoever decided to chop off the ears of this sweet boy must have been filled with such hatred and hurt - but Olly has moved past that and just wants to love and play with his dog buddies. Olly will continue to heal - but we are looking for a foster or forever home to give him the tlc he needs right now. Meet Mack! This big love of a boy had been seen wandering rural Georgia for quite some time before he was brought into animal control by a Good Samaritan. Gentle and loving, he quickly became a volunteer favorite! Mack might look like a serious guy, but he is a party animal at heart! He is crate and house trained and walks great on leash! His favorite thing to do is stare at his foster mom ( almost like he is staring into her soul) until she gives in and pets him - It's all about the love and affection for Mack! He would love to have his very own person all to himself to go on walks and car rides and just snuggle up by the fire. Meet Rue!  Sweet girl Rue joined us  from a rural Georgia shelter. A shelter is no place for any dog but it is especially risky for dogs like Rue - black pit mixes (and black dogs in general) have a much higher euthanasia rate than other dogs. These girls already had two strikes against them just because of their appearance.  At right around a year old, Rue is so so sweet and just love soaking up attention from her foster mom. Other than playing outside with all of her friends, that’s probably about her most favorite thing to do!  This sweet girl would love nothing more than to make it home in time to spend Valentine’s Day with her new families! He was very underweight and just overall in rough shape, so thankfully he chose the right house to show up at! Numa is such a happy and friendly guy! He's great with other dogs and loves people! There are cats in his foster home and while he is curious about them he hasn't shown any aggression at all, so he would likely do fine in a home with a dog savvy cat. Meet Sailor! He's a happy, playful, and affectionate 8-year old Pit mix and weighs 55lbs. Don't let his age fool you, you'll see he has the health and energy of a younger dog. At home he is quiet and likes to either sleep or follow you around and get belly rubs. He needs a moderate amount of exercise, at minimum an hour-long walk daily, but ideally more high-energy activities like fetch or tug-of-war. The perfect home for him would include a fenced yard, with a family that has a fairly unchanging schedule (full-time work is totally fine!). He does well with some dogs, but is too reactive to go to the dog park or be in highly dog-populated areas. I'm rehoming him because he needs a quieter lifestyle than mine. I didn't realize that going on adventures with him to so many new environments would be worse for his anxiety, and I live in an apartment so getting him to a safe place to play is difficult. He's fully trained and non aggressive to people.

Meet Bandit, my 7-year-old purebred boxer. I have been with him since his birth, and he is the son of his late father who I also owned. Bandit has always had a companion, be it a fellow dog or a human at home. He is a lovable, laid-back dog that adores children and is extremely well-mannered. Bandit walks well on a leash, is housebroken, and is crate-trained. He loves having company, but things have been tough since I moved to an apartment, and he's been experiencing separation anxiety.
