Hi I was given Miley by a close friend. She has been with me since 02/14/2025. She’s 11 months old and feisty. She has personality and a sense of humor. She is very vocal and likes to play. She is always hungry even though she is small. She is the runt of her litter. I love Miley like my child and I hope anyone interested in her are planning to do the same. I moved from a house to an apartment who has pet exemptions in place. She does need to be trained and she is a Velcro dog. She loves to be around people and to cuddle.

[can hold her until adopted-only lets me put 2 weeks) Dottie (short for Dottiedopealicious) is from an unexpected litter from a rescue. I took her mom in not knowing she was pregnant and then she was too far along to rehome. Thanks to someone who took in a pup and did a DNA test, I know she is Pitbull and Blue Heeler. Dottie is 5 months old (born first week in August, 2025) and has 3 other siblings who I also need to find homes for. Blue Heelers are working dogs and have a TON of energy to release. She needs to go to a home with a lot of space and an active family. She loves to play. She is hot and cold with her litter mates so not certain if she will get along well with other dogs but sure she can be trained. She definitely herds so maybe not. The pit in her makes her lovey at times but not a cuddler - just loves to play. Still, she's sweet. I cannot afford a vet at this time so there are no shots or prescribed dewormer. I have been going holistic and so far so good.

Layla is from an unexpected litter from a rescue. I took her mom in not knowing she was pregnant and then she was too far along to rehome. Thanks to someone who took in a pup and did a DNA test, I know she is Pitbull and Blue Heeler. Layla is 5 months old (born first week in August, 2025) and has 3 other siblings who I also need to find homes for. Blue Heelers are working dogs and have a TON of energy to release. She needs to go to a home with a lot of space and an active family. Lay is kinda laid back - originally her name was Laze (because she was so lazy). She resource guards toys but I'm trying to fix that. She might not be good with other dogs but can be trained I'm sure. She LOVES attention and cuddling. She's sweet as long as you don't touch her toys. LOL!

Dora (the explorer) is from an unexpected litter from a rescue. I took her mom in not knowing she was pregnant and then she was too far along to rehome. Thanks to someone who took in a pup and did a DNA test, I know she is Pitbull and Blue Heeler. Dora is 5 months old (born first week in August, 2025) and has 3 other siblings who I also need to find homes for. Blue Heelers are working dogs and have a TON of energy to release. She needs to go to a home with a lot of space and an active family with a lot of patience - she LOVES TO TALK and DEMAND. She also loves to play. So far she does well with litter mates. She is 50/50 with cuddles and loves to climb - everything. *I do not have enough money for vet visits/shots but everything is being done holistically until adopted. Money is low for food so while she seems super slim, she is fed 2.5 to 4 cups of kibble a day - sometimes a chicken/turmeric/pumpkin/rice homemade dinner when money is low. Ground pumpkin seed keeping worms at bay!

"Courtesy Post" This is not a Street Paws animal, but we are assisting with placing a pet.  Kelly was surrendered to the shelter as a stray and left at the door pregnant where she gave birth to 8 puppies at the shelter. Kelly is a very sweet girl who loves affection and sitting with you giving puppy kisses and cuddles. Kelly loves to be around people and getting some play time in the shelter yard. Kelly is a gentle girl that is friendly, protective, brave and independent. Adoptions are limited to an approximately 150 mile radius from Locust Grove, GA, certain circumstances may allow exceptions.  Adoption fee is $250 To apply to adopt this pet, please fill out a Preliminary Adoption Application at  https://www.streetpaws.org/home/adopt.     This application does not commit you to an adoption. It is used to screen those interested to make sure the home is a good match for the pet and your family. We verify vet history on current/previous pets to ensure pets have been spayed/neutered and vaccinated annually. Please call your vet to give permission for us to call them.
