Story
This is Canelo, neutered male, 2yr old mixed pitbull, and about 70lb. Unfortunately, I am unable to care for him any longer. I have fallen and broken my leg. He’s a big baby that just simply doesn’t understand how big/heavy he is. All he wants is love and attention. However, I can’t physically handle him at this time and give him the proper attention. Canelo will be your best friend. The one that listens when your in need, the one to cuddle with you, the one that will be there when you most need him. He is protective when he chooses his person. He loves to go on long walks and car rides. Especially, the one’s that end with ice cream. Some of his favorite playing activities are chase balls, fetch, tug-of-war, and soccer. (He will pop soccer balls). He’s obedient and understands simple commands like “sit”, “give me paw”, and “leave it”. Most commands he knows are in Spanish, but he does also understand some English.

Story
Nallie came into our care unexpectedly after her previous owner and his family were deported. We took her in to keep her safe, but with four dogs and one cat already in our home, we haven’t been able to give her the space and consistency she needs. She is estimated to be about 1.5-2 years old, full of energy, and still very much in her adolescent stage. We are looking for a home where Nallie can be the only pet so she can receive focused attention. Nallie is best described as alert, playful, goofy, loyal, and eager to please. She knows basic commands like “sit” and “kneel,” and she’s loves to chew on sticks, bones, and toys. She can be barky and reactive toward unfamiliar people or loud noises at first due to fear. She is comfortable traveling in the car, as her previous owner would occasionally take her on his contracting jobs. Nallie deserves a home where she can be taken on walks, runs, and play--and ultimately be part of someone’s daily life.

Story
Ellie is young at heart even though she has arthritis. She does not let height keep her away from cuddles and a little play time. She is a quiet dog and likes to spend a lot of time napping, but is not a fan of thunder, fireworks, or noises that resemble this. She is not shy when it comes to meeting new people, which is a blessing most days. The reason she needs a new home is that I have found that I cannot afford to maintain her medical needs due to her daily incontinence problems. I believe that she needs more special attention, and with my work and extracurricular activities, I am unable to provide that for her. She adores children and can meet their energy until she is ready to take a nap. It would be great to see her go to someone special and get more love. Her vet records are up to date.
