Story
We rescued Rock from a city police pound 10+ years ago. Actually, he rescued us! He became part of our family just after the passing of our father/grandfather. Since Rock has been with, including our move from NC to GA just 5 years ago. After our move, our household's schedule changed drastically. There are 2 adults and 4 school-aged children in our home. We are very active with sports and social in-person network, which causes us to be away from Rock for more time than we'd like-- but really more than he deserves. Rock is a very friendly and calm dog. He does not bark-- seriously, he does not bark. He loves to drink water and search for fresh water streams and rain water, but this does cause him to need to go out a good bit. He loves a good walk but is very much an inside pet. He is house and guest trained, so he normally will not jump on furniture or other people. Like any dog, he does love a good head, behind the ear, and top hind-legs rub.

Story
With a very heavy heart I am having to rehome my sweet girl Luna. She is the most playful, loving, funny, cuddly, dog, but for some reason she doesn't get along with one of my dogs. The other one she is perfectly fine with and has had no issues. It's hard to determine why there is a problem with only one of the dogs, but my suspicion is that they jealous (both are very needy and affectionate). She is a female that she was just recently spayed, and the shelter estimated that she is about three years old. I adopted her in December as she was scheduled to be euthanized that day. She had been in the shelter for three months. She needed time to decompress from all of the activity and stress of the shelter, and things seem to be going well, but recently she's started to get into fights with my 9-year-old dog (the one pictured with her). They got along at one point, but tension has been escalating between the two of them. She has been doing great with basic training and deserves a good home.

Story
Scout was left tied up to a business that was closed on the weekend, so my son rescued him. He is a sweet, silly snuggle bug that thinks he’s a lap dog. He loves everyone he meets and loves playing with other dogs. He has not had any exposure to cats. Scout is neutered and up-to-date on his vaccines. The vet thinks he’s about 13 to 14 months so still in the puppy phase and currently weighs 65-70 lbs. My son recently graduated college and has relocated to a new city into a small apartment that doesn’t allow big dogs plus he’ll be going into an office five days a week. As much as my son loves this dog he can’t keep him. Please consider adopting Scout.

Story
Daisy is a sweet and playful young lady with lots of energy. She enjoys walking, fetch, and chewing on her toys and bones. Daisy loves to interact with other dogs, but she plays a bit rough. Also, she does well with pottying outside but house training is still a work in progress. Daisy was a stray and the vet estimated her age between 1.5 and 2 years. We adopted her with high hopes, but she has not been a good fit with our smaller pet, so we're trying to find her forever home. If you're looking for an active pet and can provide consistency, then Daisy's the one for you.

Story
Bob Barker is a big bundle of joy, eager to find his forever home! This smart, happy, and excitable boy is a well-rounded companion who brings energy and affection wherever he goes. House Trained & Crate Trained Bob has mastered the art of being a well-mannered house guest and member of the family. He's crate trained, and quick to learn new commands, making him a breeze to incorporate into your family's day to day life. Kid-Friendly At 65 pounds, Bob Barker is better suited for families with older children who can handle his playful energy. He's still young and doesn't always realize his size, so older kids will enjoy his enthusiasm without the risk of being knocked over. Activity Level This playful pup thrives on activity! Whether it's long walks, romping around in a yard, or engaging in a game of fetch or tug-of-war, Bob Barker is always ready for fun. Playtime Favorites Balls are his favorite for fetch, but Bob Barker also enjoys a playful chase. He brings joy and laughter to every play session! Ideal Home Bob Barker would thrive in a loving family home with a large, fenced yard (ideally 4-5 ft high) where he can run and play. He walks beautifully on a leash, making outtings a pleasure. He is alert and attentive, always eager to learn and be near his people. If you're looking for a loving, energetic companion who's ready to fill your life with joy, Bob Barker is your guy! He can't wait to meet you and start his new adventure.     An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online.  http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms     Please be sure to like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org    Note:   Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions.
