Story
Courtesy Post - This is not a Street Paws animal but we are assisting a family with placing their pet.  Ringo is as cute as he can be. At 1 year old, he’s full of puppy energy and loves to be active and playful, but he will never fail to sit still for a treat! Food is definitely his #1 love language as he’s a growing young boy, but physical touch comes in at a close #2. He loves kisses and hugs as often as he can get them! He’s a happy, bouncy, loving boy who is learning new things quickly and will be a wonderfully sweet and loyal companion. Adoptions are limited to an approximately 150 mile radius from Locust Grove, GA, certain circumstances may allow exceptions.  Adoption fee is $250 To apply to adopt this pet, please fill out a Preliminary Adoption Application at  https://www.streetpaws.org/home/adopt.     This application does not commit you to an adoption. It is used to screen those interested to make sure the home is a good match for the pet and your family. We verify vet history on current/previous pets to ensure pets have been spayed/neutered and vaccinated annually. Please call your vet to give permission for us to call them. If more information is needed regarding the pet email info@streetpaws.org. You must complete the pre-application to obtain approval to meet the pet.  April 21, 2024, 12:05 pm

Story
Chico has always been a good dog. He has just gotten so neglected in the past year and I feel so bad I’m not around enough to tend to his needs. I’m really hoping there’s someone out there who can love him & he can live in his last few years…it’s very difficult for me. But he deserves a better life than to be home alone while I’m out working and being a single parent.

Story
Fiona is a young girl with a beautiful fawn coat who has recently been brought up to date on all her vet care. Like most strays we are unsure of her past but do know she can start her next chapter fresh and new. She is house trained, crated trained, enjoys napping, going on walks with her human and has some basic training. Fiona would do best as the only dog or in a home with larger more submissive dogs and since she likes to show off her athletic skills she needs to live in a home with NO cats or small dogs. If you are interested in adopting Fiona the next step is to fill out the adoption application at buttsmutts.com ##1896767##

Story
I adopted Bear three years ago from Fulton County Animal Shelter. He is house trained, and crate trained. He’s neutered as well. He does get along with other dogs and kids. He loves walks and to be outside. He’s very good motivated, so I keep a lot of treats around.

Story
Hello, I found Coco awhile back. I posted her in hopes that I could find her owner. However no one claimed her. So I’ve been trying to find someone to take her in. She is a very sweet dog. But I can tell she may have a bad background. She has very nervous energy and did not know any common commands when I found her. I’m not sure how old she is. The vet thinks she may be 3 years old. She now is crate trained, knows the basic commands and really just loves to be around you. I have two other dogs. One whom she does not get along with, and the other she loves to play with. She isn’t good with my female German shepherd. But does very well with my male Alaskan malamute. So maybe if you have a friendly male dog she will be okay going to a home with another dog. I’m not too sure how she would do with cats. Please let me know if you would like to take her. I really don’t want to take her to the shelter. But I just can’t keep her with her not getting along with my female shepherd.

Story
I have had Bruce since he was 6 weeks. He has been professionally trained. He will be great to the right owner who has experience working with dogs. He is well loved here, however, we have a young baby and we cannot expect the baby to know how to properly handle him and we are nervous for her safety as he does have some aggression concerns if not properly handled. New owner must have a lot of experience and no young children. He has a lot of energy and usually gets along great with other dogs. Loves playing fetch, taking long walks/jogs, and being very active.
