It’s hard to write this, but we want to do what’s best for Rocko. Rocko came into our lives as a puppy after a neighbor found him wandering alone on Frog Road. He got a clean bill of health from the vet, and from that moment, he’s been family. He’s about a year and a half old now - playful, loyal, and full of love. His bark might fool you, but trust me, he’s a big softie at heart. He knows sit, stay, lay down, and paw, and with a little time he’ll pick up even more. This is not a decision we’ve made lightly. Life has gotten so busy that we just can’t give Rocko the time, attention, and energy he truly deserves. He deserves a home where he can thrive - where he’ll be loved, played with, and part of the daily rhythm of life. Turtle is a sweet, brindle female rescued from a hoarding case with almost 20 other dogs. She was underweight, but is eating well and gaining weight rapidly. She is settling in to her new foster home and is very vocal. She talks when she is happy, she talks when she wants something, and she talks when she wants out of her crate. She is doing well with crate and potty training and gets along well with the resident dogs (and cats) in the foster home. She is learning to walk on a leash, has a good grasp on sit, and has no interest in stay. :-) (We are working on that.) She is current on vaccines, is heartworm negative, and has been dewormed. She is on Interceptor Plus and Credelio. We will have her scheduled for spay surgery soon and will update after surgery is completed. March 2, 2026, 12:09 pm
