Meet Raven! This pretty girl is a 3 year old Pitbull mix. She was adopted from here as a puppy but sadly, she was returned recently for not getting along with the cat in the home. Raven is the happiest girl! She is content and happy no matter what she is doing. Whether she is snuggled up in her bed with her favorite toy or playing in the play yard, she is always happy. She also loves to share her toys and will bring it to you. Raven is well mannered but needs to work on her jumping a little bit. She also keeps her kennel very clean. We are unsure how she is with other dogs but all dogs in the home will need to be present to meet her. She can’t be in a home with cats. Raven will be available for adoption tomorrow at 12pm and is eager to meet you. Miss Pickles may be the gal for you! Also known by her foster family as “Mama Dilly”, Miss Pickles is a 60 pound Pit Bull mix who is the sweetest, most gentle lovebug you could imagine! Her life got off to a rough start down in Tennessee; she was kept outside on a chain in a small, wooden shack. While there, she sustained some damage to her left eye and developed a large mammary tumor. The kind folks at Animal Control took her into their care, and both her bum eye and tumor were removed. Unfortunately the tumor was deemed to be a moderate to higher grade mast cell tumor. While metastasization in the future is a possibility, she currently is not experiencing any symptoms and is looking forward to living the rest of her life to its fullest! Miss Pickles is a little bit.... fluffy. She could stand to lose a couple of pounds. She has some stiffness in her back legs and takes a glucosamine supplement to help; but that may improve on its own after a bit of weight loss. This sweet girl gets along with dogs of all sizes. Cats are currently unknown. She loves chewing on bones (and sometimes on shoes and blankets!), and her most favorite thing is snuggling on the couch. She is potty trained and never has accidents in the house. She is fine with being crated and sleeps perfectly through the night. If you give this lovely gal a second chance at life, you will not regret it - she will pay you back in love and snuggles! Albert's Dog Lounge is a specialty rescue focusing primarily on senior and special needs dogs.
