Meet Raven! This pretty girl is a 3 year old Pitbull mix. She was adopted from here as a puppy but sadly, she was returned recently for not getting along with the cat in the home. Raven is the happiest girl! She is content and happy no matter what she is doing. Whether she is snuggled up in her bed with her favorite toy or playing in the play yard, she is always happy. She also loves to share her toys and will bring it to you. Raven is well mannered but needs to work on her jumping a little bit. She also keeps her kennel very clean. We are unsure how she is with other dogs but all dogs in the home will need to be present to meet her. She can’t be in a home with cats. Raven will be available for adoption tomorrow at 12pm and is eager to meet you. Thankfully, it was hot in Texas when they were born because their mother had almost no hair as a result of her neglect and abandonment. In spite of her skin issues, she was so proud of her puppies and such a good mama. They loved her back which was something that she hadn't known in her young life. Mama found mercy and kindness and a home in New Boston, Texas. Her new owner contacted Greg King Canine Recovery and they were able to take Mama's litter in to their rescue. Mama is on medication for her skin issues which was primarily due to a lack of adequate nutrition. Now her puppies just need their forever homes. Latrell told mama, "We will take care of your babies until they get their homes just as you have yours now." Based on physical traits and the expertise of our veterinarian, we believe that Fritz is a Weimaraner and American Staffordshire terrier mix. However, this is based on physical traits. We have not done a DNA test on this puppy. Each puppy has received a minimum of 3 puppy vaccinations and will have a health certificate indicating he/she has been examined by a licensed veterinarian and has been cleared for adoption and transport. In Texas, puppies receive their Rabies vaccination, tag & certificate at 12 weeks. You will receive a folder with veterinary information to take to your vet. Only the $75 transport fee is due to secure transport from our rescue in Texarkana, Texas to one of the 7 locations on our transport route.
