Anita is a fun loving pitty girl who’s been through it. Anita came to the shelter as a stray. From her chip we can tell she has had 5 owners so far. 5 OWNERS?? From talking to past owners, they said she was a great dog, but due to their life style change they were unable to keep her. She had been around other dogs and kids in the homes. We haven’t had her around them here just yet. Anita loves toys. It’s really her true favorite. She also enjoys walking the trails taking in the sounds and investigating EVERYTHING. She really just wants to be with her people all the time. Her dislike is a crates. Would you like to give Anita her best life? Hi! I`m Morrie, a 4 year old terrier mix. I`m crate, house, and potty trained. I sleep well all night and love couch and nap time. I`m an amazing hugger and I love to be close to my humans. My breed is known to be lovable, loyal, and have limited personal space (I believe your lap always has room for me!). I don`t destroy anything in the house, don`t dig holes, and love balls and stuffies. My favorite is benebones and a big squeaker toy. I`m such a good girl with people and have accepted lots of people in my foster home. I really like chasing bunnies and squirrels, so I think cats or other small pets would be risky. Though my foster family thinks I`m an extra-special, pretty easy, amazing, and nearly perfect pup, I really need to find my forever family so they can keep helping more rescued pups. JJ, AKA;Jack; he is 8 years old Is a very smart dog, trained to sit , lay, follow commands, He is on schedule and aware of schedule - he understands human words Loves attention, loves to have companion, loves walks. He was bottle-fed as baby had lots of love and attention. I was his only owner, He is getting up there in age and showing signs of it. He will still fetch ball and has spurts of energy, but not all the time. JJ recently has been experiencing some behavioral issues out of the blue, he forgets who we are when startled, he doesn’t know who we are until he visually sees us He gets aggressive at times, then snaps out of it. JJ needs a companion and a home without children, he may be ok with other dogs , he has been with our 2 others just fine and visits with family dogs. Fenced in yard, if not supervised He needs someone to pay attention, respond to his special needs at this point. He is being rehomed because of his changes in behavior that I cannot manage.
