This is princess Rosie who will be 4 in June. She was rescued back in 2019 from a rescue who was assisting rehoming her. I was told she was about 6 months at the time. She's been a joy and loves all the attention and cuddles you can give her. She loves my kids and is very protective. She also loves meeting new people and being the center of attention, She really is a sweet girl. Potty trained and will hang out in the house while you leave. She doesn't like the crate though! She’s chewed through 3-4 of them in the past but she does great now alone by herself. She loves walks and car rides (be careful those are her favorite words ;) She does okay on the leash, some pulling, but could use more training. She knows a few commands like sit and lay down, and paw. She loves tennis balls and stuffed animals to destroy. She loves to snuggle next to you and give you hugs when you come home. She is a spoiled little baby and deserves all the loving.

Clue is a sweet, highly energetic boy. He understands pack hierarchy and would do great in a home with other dogs. Especially one with a fenced yard and an equally energetic buddy for whole yard zoomies! This guy LOVES to play ball! I learned his word is "drop it which he will usually do-or just give him a minute and he will drop it on his own. If you're sitting, he'll drop the ball in your lap. He will whine in the crate some but settled down. When we went to bed, he whined briefly until the lights were out and then stayed quiet all night. Hubby gets up super early, so he whined briefly until hubby left and got quiet again. No accidents so far. He does need a little work on manners but he doesn't jump excessively. Only pulls somewhat on the leash when he's excited. He knows sit. He's eager to please and could be treat and toy motivated. He needs someone that will help expend his boundless energy. Hello, I'm Clay - I am super loving, and love to cuddle and play. I need to be an only dog family home though. I am well behaved around the house, travel great in the car, and walk nicely on a leash. Some of my favorite things to do are run, chase a ball, and get ear scratches! I promise I will keep you busy with cuddles, kisses, and playtime; I can do it all. When I first came to HSCC, I was malnourished and developed some food aggression. I once bit that girl at the front desk because I thought she was trying to steal my bowl away - but she said she forgives me and I'm still her good boy. The staff raised money so my new owner could take me to training! FOSTER TESTIMONIAL- Absolutely delighted to have Clay visiting for a couple of days. He's such an amazing boy!
