Story
I`m in a foster home! To adopt me, email my foster parents at annaclairelevesque@gmail.com.Dori is adorable! She adores being loved and giving it right back. And she has the most amazing markings with such a dear boopable sniffy snout. This wonderful, sweet girl is in foster and has charmed the neighborhood. Dori is potty trained and has done well on her own at home, and is friendly with new people, including children. Dori has a playful side and enjoys a good game of fetch but tends toward a more chill vibe, gently requesting pets and belly rubs and chewing her stuffies. Dori just wants to spend her days relaxing and enjoying life while you bask in her soulful, adoring gaze! Dori loves to go for walks and happily dons her harness. She calmly sleeps through the night in her own room and greets us with soft kisses in the morning. She`s been fine staying on her own for stretches during the day, too, and hasn`t had one accident! She`s very friendly and charms all she meets with her kind greetings and too adorable spots. She has been wonderful with school-aged kids who visit her foster home. Dori is very attentive and smart. She checks in a lot to see what you want her to be doing.  She`s got `sit` down pat and is quickly adding new skills to her repertoire. Dori can`t wait to find her new family. Please meet this beautiful gal soon!Dori was also so loved by all at the shelter. One volunteer shared, `Dori is so smart that she focuses on you for love and guidance. She loves treats and she likes her cuddles.` And another said, `She is very sweet and friendly and a total joy - the perfect blend of playful and chill … still young enough for some puppy fun but already knows how to relax and soak up the love. Her gentle, joyful personality is just waiting to shine in a home of her own.`

Story
I`m in a FOSTER HOME! For more information or to virtually meet me, email my foster parent at braithwaitejd7@gmail.comBrinda is the most beautiful brindle girl...hence the name Brinda! Brinda, who I have affectionately doved `Bea`, is the sweetest, silliest, and loving girl. She is hands down the most affectionate dog I have EVER cared for. She wants to constantly cuddle....it is her love language. She loves to have her head on your legs or be curled up against your chest. At 9pm, Bea is ready for bed for the night!Bea is medium energy and 58 lbs. She stays in the crate while I am at work (7a-3p) and does a great job. She is now working on being outside of the crate while I am gone (so far we have successfully done 4 hours). I don`t need to crate her at night because she sleeps curled up right beside me all night long. Bea typically sleeps 8 hours per night. She loves her toys, squirrels, and bones. She is a smart girl and always remembers which trees she previously saw a squirrel climb up. Bea knows the command `sit` and will do so at any time if it means getting a treat. Bea loves walks and is often confused when people we walk by don`t stop to pet her! Bea is working hard with her confidence around other dogs. A once very timid dog, now she can parallel walk with other dogs. She is extremely curious about other dogs but can get scared once the other dog wants to play. She is a great apartment dog (I live in downtown DC), she doesn`t bark at any alarms or sirens during the day or night, only will casually bark when she hears other dogs walking down our hallway. I mean somebody has to keep watch over the apartment! Bea mirrors your energy. It is best to have her in a home with middle school kids and above. She loves kids, but young kids get her extremely excited, which might end up scaring a younger kid. Bea had a rough life prior to the shelter. She was found chained up to a police station with an upper respiratory and eye infection…but did she didn`t commit any crimes! Bea was thankfully taken to the shelter where she recovered. In the shelter Bea was spayed and given a whole new life. She is an incredibly resilient girl. Bea needs somebody to be gentle and loving with her, and she will give it back to you three-fold! Bea is great at meeting people on her walks but can get nervous when people walk into the apartment. Once she sniffs the new person, she is wiggly and ready to cuddle. I am very confident that with more exp
