Story

Casper was rescued from a backyard in bad axe with 4 of his litter mates in September 2024. A group of my friends picked up all the pups at 4 months old. I took 4 of them including Casper (his other brother the 5th pup was adopted on the spot. I housed them in my parent’s horse barn until I could find better means. He got along with my old lab who is 12 and all his litter mates. He never showed much interest in our cats accept maybe a sniff of 2 but doesn’t have much experience with them. He’s always been so sweet, loves belly rubs and cookies. Likes to wear a sweater or coat in the cold. In the beginning, he had some issues with his right eye I found out he needed surgery, which he has had and recovered well. He hasn’t shown any issues since then. He lives in a kennel in Metamora and is in need of a new loving home and family. I adopted his sister but unfortunately can only have one 1 dog. He will be 2 in May and really deserves to live a happy loving life. Please consider him 🩵

He is also very food-motivated which will be an excellent tool when it comes to training. Quack will thrive in an active home where he can get lots of exercise and have a nice yard to run in. Based on our evaluation, we feel Quack would do best in an active home with adults or families with kids ages 12 and up. This sweet boy Bojangles was found wandering the streets of Detroit, nearly frozen with wounds from an embedded collar, and was taken in by some incredibly kind people who didn’t turn their backs on him when he needed help most. Shortly after, Bojangles was diagnosed with an intestinal blockage and required surgery. Thankfully, he came through it like a champ and is now healed, happy, and ready for his next chapter - with a safe place to land and a future full of love. Bojangles is approximately 6-8 months old, up to date on all vaccines, and has the best little personality. He’s dog, cat, and kid friendly, on the smaller side, and honestly… absolutely adorable. He is about 90% house trained, kennel trained, and eager to keep learning. After such a rough start, Bojangles deserves nothing but stability, kindness, and a family who will love him forever.
