I have a purebred American bully that will come with papers, she is so sweet and so gentle and loves people and kids, she isn't usually very aggressive with dogs, but for her she would be best as the only dog in the house, shes fine with cats. The reason for sadly having to rehome her is, my wife and I have both taken jobs where she would be in a kennel for awhile and that is not the life I would want for her, I would prefer someone who has a lot more free time for her. She is my baby so obviously I will only rehome her if the right person seems fit. She would come with her food, crate, toys , collars and leash.

We adopted Squirt as a puppy almost four years ago. He has a great personality; I might describe him as an "aggressive kisser", but we are finding that he needs more attention and more regularity than we are able to provide. He has always been in a very loving and positive environment. We've worked with Squirt a lot, on our own and with the help of trainers; he has all the basics down, but can be a bit anxious when meeting new people and definitely when meeting new ‘friends’. Truffle~born~March 2018Truffle needs to find a new home. Her current owner has provided this information:Truffle is a 5 year old sweet and loving pit/hound mix. Originally from California, she loves to take long sun baths and enjoy the fresh air. She enjoys her daily walks and has several spurts throughout the day where she loves to play and run around. However, most of the day, you'll find her napping and snuggled up next to you. Truffle is looking for an experienced owner who can continue to help her with separation anxiety and dog reactivity. She will do best in a single dog household. Truffle has been working very hard on her dog reactivity since 2020 and has come a long way! When introduced properly she can be comfortable around other dogs. She will do very well with a confident owner who is invested in her improvement and dedicated to continuing her training. She is also great around kids (even babies) for short periods of time, but would be happiest in a home without children (several days to a week around kids is her max). She does not do well with cats.Truffle is also working on her separation anxiety. Currently, she's working on crate training, which is going very well! Shyla~birth~February 2022Shyla currently lives with 2 cats and 1 dog and plays with all of them. She greets everyone like a tornado (lots of jumping) but calms down after the excitement wears off. She would do best with older children just because of her size and still needing to learn some manners. She is VERY food motivated, and she is house trained. She is very strong and needs to learn leash manners. She is crate trained--- she will fuss when she first goes in, but eventually settles down. She is not a fan of the vacuum. She is a bed hog and loves to snuggle (she thinks she is a lap dog). She loves to lay on the couch and watch what is going on in the neighborhood outside. She does not have a favorite toy, she loves them all and empties the toy box daily. A privacy fence would be best because she can escape by jumping over regular fences too easily, so a shorter fence would be a worry. Who's the sweetest dog around?? I am! My people call me Princess Penny.  I’m always down for cuddling and treats. Human affection is my favorite thing ever. I am looking for a companion that would like to go for walks, watch Netflixs and will spoil me. I would love my forever home to be an adult-only home, or a home with respectful teenagers. My foster mom calls me her shadow because I follow her around everywhere. I just really, really love people!  I'm a bit of a princess because I want to be the only animal in the home (so I can get all the attention!).  My foster mom says I am AMAZING with my house manners. FYI- DNA tested- Staffy/Mastiff We do not have a facility for you to visit.  WE PROCESS APPLICANTS AND SET APPOINTMENTS BASED ON THE ORDER APPLICATIONS ARE RECEIVED , so while you are welcome to email  ccrcdogs@ccrcdogs.com with specific questions, you will want to complete the  ONLINE APPLICATION ASAP ,  which can be found at www.ccrcdogs.com, to secure your position in line for one of our dogs. You can also find  a description of our process on that same page. Puppies will not be available to be seen until their 10 day quarantine has passed. Our adoption fee is $220 for adults, $295 for puppies (under 6 months), and $150 for seniors (8 yrs and up) which covers the cost of the spay/neuter, age appropriate shots and tests, medications to bring the dog to full health, and a free visit with one of our approved vets after adoption. The majority of dogs at CCRC are obtained from animal control centers, so there is often very little known about their history or even current habits. You can always expect to do some training, regardless of whether you adopt a dog or a puppy, including crate training, house training, and basic manners.
