Story
Meet Scout! A handsome boy who has a big personality and an even bigger heart for the right person. Scout is looking for a patient, dog-savvy adopter who understands that building trust takes time—he’ll need multiple meet-and-greets before he's ready to head home. While he prefers to be the only pet in the household, Scout can enjoy doggy play dates with the right canine buddies outside the home. A kid-free environment will help him feel safe and relaxed, and he’ll thrive with a consistent training plan and a calm adjustment period as he settles into his new space. With the right support, Scout is ready to show off his goofy charm and loyal spirit. Could you be the one to help him blossom? - Around 5 years 4 months old - Currently just under 75lbs fully grown - Prefers to be king of his castle with no other animals, but will do doggy playdates - Prefers a home with older kids who can help train and respect his space - Multiple meetings & training plan before going home - Adoption fee: $175 *sponsored* This dog is currently housed at our shelter. If you are interested, please come in at your earliest availability during our open hours, no appointment necessary. We do same-day adoptions, do not hold dogs, and work on a first-come, first-served basis as long as it is an excellent fit for both parties. If you have questions or want to possibly schedule an appointment on one of our closed days, you may email dogs@adoptapetfenton.com. Dog adoption fees include spay/neuter, rabies vaccine (if age-appropriate), distemper/parvo combination vaccine, leptospirosis vaccine (if age-appropriate), bordetella vaccine, deworming, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm preventative, flea preventative, a dental cleaning (if necessary), and a microchip. Future vaccines, tests, and treatments will be the responsibility of the adopter.

Story
AnaBelle is almost 3, her birthday is May 20th. Ive had her since she was 5 weeks old. Shes a very sweet dog, but very protective and needs to be an only pet. Shes basic obedience trained, and has a lot of energy. She would make a great sports or hunting dog as she loves using her nose and running. She has always been food motivated (your floors will always be clean). She has been spayed and is up to date on her vaccines. As said before she needs to be the only dog in the home, but she may be okay with altered males with proper introductions. She is not okay with cats and small children. She is a very protective dog once she gets attached to a person. She is house broken and crate trained.

Story
Meet Mac! 🐾 Mac is a 3-year-old pittie mix with a big personality and an even bigger heart. This handsome guy has been in foster care for two years, where he’s learned all the good manners—he’s crate trained, potty trained, and knows how to settle in at home after a fun day. Mac is the ultimate goofball! He loves to make his people laugh with his silly antics and happy energy. He’s also a loyal companion who thrives on attention and playtime. Because Mac loves having his humans all to himself, he needs to be the only dog in the home. A fenced-in yard would be perfect for him to run, play, and burn off his zoomies safely. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, goofy, and affectionate best friend, Mac might just be your guy. After two years of waiting, he’s more than ready to finally find his forever home—could it be with you? ❤️ Adoption application: https://forms.gle/BxkxP95Evs5spcPw6
