I'm about 4 years young and estimated to be a staffie/jack russel mix, and weigh in at 45 pounds. I am looking for my forever home and hope it'll have lots of toys and maybe not so many other animals. I love attention and to go for walks, and to play with my stuffed toys. I also enjoy chewing on bones. I am very well-behaved and am not destructive or too energetic, I have a very calm demeanor and can be left alone for a few hours during the day and won't cause any trouble at all. I am a little shy at first, but once I know you I will trust you from the bottom of my heart to take care of me. Truffle~born~March 2018Truffle needs to find a new home. Her current owner has provided this information:Truffle is a 5 year old sweet and loving pit/hound mix. Originally from California, she loves to take long sun baths and enjoy the fresh air. She enjoys her daily walks and has several spurts throughout the day where she loves to play and run around. However, most of the day, you'll find her napping and snuggled up next to you. Truffle is looking for an experienced owner who can continue to help her with separation anxiety and dog reactivity. She will do best in a single dog household. Truffle has been working very hard on her dog reactivity since 2020 and has come a long way! When introduced properly she can be comfortable around other dogs. She will do very well with a confident owner who is invested in her improvement and dedicated to continuing her training. She is also great around kids (even babies) for short periods of time, but would be happiest in a home without children (several days to a week around kids is her max). She does not do well with cats.Truffle is also working on her separation anxiety. Currently, she's working on crate training, which is going very well! Truffle loves to train and is food motivated and eager to please! Shyla~birth~February 2022Shyla currently lives with 2 cats and 1 dog and plays with all of them. She greets everyone like a tornado (lots of jumping) but calms down after the excitement wears off. She would do best with older children just because of her size and still needing to learn some manners. She is VERY food motivated, and she is house trained. She is very strong and needs to learn leash manners. She is crate trained--- she will fuss when she first goes in, but eventually settles down. She is not a fan of the vacuum. She is a bed hog and loves to snuggle (she thinks she is a lap dog). She loves to lay on the couch and watch what is going on in the neighborhood outside. She does not have a favorite toy, she loves them all and empties the toy box daily. A privacy fence would be best because she can escape by jumping over regular fences too easily, so a shorter fence would be a worry. I have a purebred American bully that will come with papers, she is so sweet and so gentle and loves people and kids, she isn't usually very aggressive with dogs, but for her she would be best as the only dog in the house, shes fine with cats. The reason for sadly having to rehome her is, my wife and I have both taken jobs where she would be in a kennel for awhile and that is not the life I would want for her, I would prefer someone who has a lot more free time for her. She is my baby so obviously I will only rehome her if the right person seems fit. She would come with her food, crate, toys , collars and leash.

Despite her age, this senior gal is spry and playful. She loves snuggling and playing with toys. Rosa is housetrained and generally a low maintenance dog. Her foster absolutely adores having her and cannot say enough good things about this loveable girl! As with any lady of a certain age, skincare is of utmost importance to Ms. Parks. When she came into our care, she had significant skin issues. This improved with medical care, but she will likely need to be on an allergy medication to manage her allergies moving forward.
