Caesar is long awaiting his forever home. At the age of 8 Caesar has been bounced between boarding facilities, foster homes, shelters - in some cases being housed outside. Caesar is a love bug and is very spry for an 8 year old boy. His ideal home would be one with a yard and with adults or children over 12 years old. This boy has lived with another male dog and did great, but he can be 'dog selective' - a slow intro would be needed. Give this older boy a chance and he will not let you down.

Meet our very own country super star, Shania Twain! This little 55 pound lady will sing her way into your heart. Shania Twain came to us a stray after being found on someones driveway, we scanned her chip but unfortunately it was not registered to her owner. Shania loves a good game of tug of war, and enjoys a nice long walk on our creek trails. Shania knows sit, and has great recall! Shania has made a few appearances in our dog play groups, and did pretty well but may need time to warm up with more of a low-key canine friend, as she likely has not interacted much with other dogs. This little girl is looking for a family to call her own, so she can play with her people and alllll the toys, and be able to snuggle up on her very own doggy bed at night! Echo is best described as a toy enthusiast, master of the treat puzzle, stuck to you like glue...dog. Echo is around 2 years old and about 54lbs. If you are looking for an active dog who loves to play, cuddle and take long walks - Echo is right here waiting. Echo would make a great addition to a family with kids over 8 years old. He is wicked smart and very food motivated, making him an ideal candidate for training school. He walks beautiful with a loose leash and a toy in his mouth. He does not pull on leash or show any aggression or vocalizations when on walks. Echo is extremely friendly - he loves everyone he meets, but he can be a little skeptical of strangers at first. Don't let that deter you, because you can win his heart in a second with a treat or anything that squeaks. Echo is curious around other dogs and is better with female dogs, but this could be because he was recently neutered. He does not show any aggression with dogs, but can be a little apprehensive when meeting one for the first time. With the proper introduction and a respectable canine friend, Echo will be fine around other dogs. When walking past other dogs on leash he shows no reactivity. In the cuddling department, he would love nothing more than to be under the covers pressed against you. He is super affectionate and loves being around people. Echo does not like being left alone and can be anxious in the crate. This is something that is being worked on, but he would be best fit with someone who is home more and can give him regular attention. Echo was rescued from the shelter, so like many shelter dogs, he just needs time to ensure you are not abandoning him. Please give Echo a chance. He has nothing but love to share and anxiously awaits his forever family.

Bindi is one lucky pup. She was recently rescued as a stray who was found with 2 other pups in a park outside of Huston, Tx. Bindi was not always treated nicely. In fact she was found with a bullet wound in her head. Fast forward, she was rescued by a good samaritan and is now staying in a boarding facility in Texas where she sits and waits for her forever family. Despite her hard start to life, Bindi has only love for the people who care for her. She wags her tail at all people who pass by and looks for pets and take treats gently. Bindi is about 55lbs and 1-2 years old. She is great with dogs of all sizes and loves to play. Bindi would make a great family pet with her endless loyalty and love and gentle temperamanet.

Chino is a super playful and energetic 45lbs little low rider. He is such a people pleaser and his only crime is smothering you with kisses! In fact, he gets so exited to see you that he not only wiggles his tail, he wiggles his whole body! Chino is a handsome boy and he is a lot of fun to be around and would love to go for walks and play in the yard. He particularly loves fetch and even knows a few commands. He is food motivated which will make training fun. Chino is non-reactive to dogs, but would be best as the only pet where he doesn't have to share the much love he deserves. He would do well in a home with older kids over 13 years and no cats. His ideal home includes a fenced in yard with lots of tennis balls. It takes a special kind of person to adopt 2 rescued pups at once. 2 dogs who've been shuffled around in homes, shelters and boarding all because they became inconvenient. It takes a big heart to see past their age and unknown circumstances or breeds and to say yes to giving them a home because they need one and they deserve one. Caesar and Pierce are a bonded pair. We don't know why, we don't know how, but we know that when one has to go to a vet visit, the other waits for their return home. We know that Pierce can be away from Caesar for an hour but when he gets home, he greets him like he's been away for weeks. There's no reason to separate these 2, to do so wouldn't be fair for all the unfairness they've already lived. Caesar is a 9-year-old, old man. He loves sunbathing and scratches. He'll weave in and out of your legs with his big ol' 67lb frame like a cat trying to get pets at all angles. He's definitely a Pittie mix and he loves his people and his dogs. He is a surrogate big brother to 27lb Pierce who compliments his big buddy so well with his playful energy and love of all toys -squeaky or not. 2-year-old Pierce looks to Caesar for a boost of confidence. He's on the shyer side of the 2 and although he loves his people, he appreciates a slow introduction so he can take time to sniff and process. Pierce is a Heinz 57 and as much as we'd like to guess his breeds, we'd be lying to you if we did. Caesar is described as confident, obedient, sensitive and kind. He loves his car rides and naps on the couch. He's king of chill and doesn't let much ruffle his feathers other than cats.... for this reason, we look forward to a feline-free zone where both of these boys can live out their days without a care in the world and the security of knowing that this is forever. Both of these boys will fill your home with love, loyalty and warmth. They sleep soundly (together) in their crates at night and appreciate a game of fetch in the grass or a leashed walk. Pierce and Caesar are currently living in San Antonio but are available to adopt to the Northeast.
