Story
Meet 1 year old pup Finn! His foster mom (and our trainer) rave about his personality, and love for humans! Finn enjoys playing with other dogs, and still has puppy energy that needs an outlet! He's so smart and sweet and learns really quickly - he may even be a candidate for agility training. He loves car rides too! Finn is currently in a foster home with several other dogs. He can be crated without a problem, as long as he gets enough exercise and has another dog playmate to keep him company! He is potty trained, as well as knows basic commands. This handsome pup is about 65 lbs, and we suspect a Pitbull/Viszla mix. He is also kid friendly and would make someone an amazing running, walking, or hiking partner! Finn needs an active home preferably with a fenced yard, and another low key male or female dog to show him the ropes and help boost his confidence in new situations. Although he loves to be active he is also a big snuggler and loves to sit in your lap and relax at the end of a busy day. Do you have room in your heart & home for this amazing boy?! If so, please visit our website www.pprct.org and fill out an adoption application today!

Story
This sweetheart is Raquel, a 16-month-old pit bull terrier who comes to PAWS as a surrender as her owners new work schedule did not allow much time for her. Raquel warms up quickly to people she is introduced to. She is very treat motivated and sits nicely for them. When she gets comfortable with you, she will snuggle her whole body into you and look for kisses. Raquel lived with young children and other dogs and did well with both. Raquel is up to date with her vaccinations and microchipped. She will be adopted out with a voucher for her spay.

Let's make this game a win-win for everyone involved!   THANK YOU FOR YOUR INTEREST IN ADOPTING ONE OF OUR AMAZING RESCUE DOGS - WE CAN’T WAIT TO HELP YOU FIND YOUR NEW BEST FRIEND! The first step in getting started with our adoption process is to fill out an adoption application on our website at www.adopt-a-dog.org. We welcome you to come visit our shelter! Meet & greets will be set up by appointment once your application has been received & processed. If a dog is still listed on Petfinder, we are still accepting applications for them!   *Adoption fee: Young Adult (1-4 years): $475 *Health: Up to date on age-appropriate core vaccines so far (adopter will be responsible for remaining vaccinations if applicable), spayed/neutered , microchipped, dewormed *If the dog you are adopting is not yet spayed/neutered at the time of adoption, we require a $150 deposit in addition to the adoption fee (to be refunded upon proof of surgery within 6 months of adoption)     ** Please note that we are taking our best guess on age, breed, and size when fully grown, based on the dog’s physical appearance and what we might have learned about one or both parents depending on the situation. We rarely know a dog's exact age, nor are we able to tell the true or full breed mix of dogs as our information is often limited. We encourage you to consider individual personality rather than relying on a label – meeting a dog in person is the best way to make sure it’s love!   FAQs: WHAT IS THE ADOPTION PROCESS?: The first step in adopting an AAD dog is to fill out an application via our website www.adoptadog.org. Once we receive your application, one of our application processors will contact you, and answer any questions you may have. We will also ask for additional information if needed (landlord or veterinarian contact information, or other based on your application). Once an application has been approved, we will schedule a mutually convenient time for a meet & greet! We do not operate on a first-come-first-serve basis for adoptions, but on best fit for a family and most importantly the dog.   HOW OLD DO I NEED TO BE TO ADOPT?:  You must be age 25 or older to apply to adopt. If you live in a home with other people (ie parents, relatives) the person who will be financially responsible for the care of the dog should be the one to fill out the application.   HOW CAN I MEET THE ADOPTABLE DOGS?: Meet and greets will be scheduled once your adoption application has been fully processed by one of our adoption processors. Please be sure to fill out the application as thoroughly as possible, as we want to make sure we find you the perfect match!   *If you have any additional questions that have not been answered, please e-mail info@adoptadog.org! ##1367805##

🥞 ADOPT PANCAKE - Your Next Sidekick! 🥞 Are you ready to flip your world upside down with laughter and love? Look no further than Pancake, the adorable little dude who's ready to join his forever home and become your loyal companion! Pancake may be small, but he's bursting with personality! His foster family can attest to the fact that this pup is more than just a pretty face - he's got charm for days! His crate is his fortress of solitude, where he retreats for some well-deserved chin scratches and love. But don't be surprised if you find him there throughout the day, either napping like a champ or chomping away on his favorite bone. When he's not snoozing or playing with a toy, Pancake is your faithful shadow! Forget about jumping on furniture; this little guy prefers a more direct approach and will attempt to climb right into your lap for some quality cuddle time (although because of his short legs he will require assistance). Pancake is a work in progress when it comes to perfect manners, but he's making strides! He's learning to take treats gently and is becoming more comfortable with people touching him or his bowl during mealtime. Plus, he's super friendly with both humans and other dogs - the ultimate social butterfly! This little dude is up for anything, whether it's a car ride, bath time, or even facing the dreaded blow dryer! Pancake is just happy to be by your side, soaking up all the love and attention you have to offer. Now, Pancake's ideal home would be with a bulldog-experienced family, preferably with teens or adults only. While he's a lover of all creatures, he's a bit too interested in our feline friends, so a home without them would be best. And at around 2 years old and 40lbs, he's the perfect size for cuddling up on the couch with his forever family. So if you're ready to welcome a special little guy into your heart and home, look no further than Pancake! He's waiting to bring endless joy, laughter, and cuddles into your life. 🥞🐾 Apply to adopt: www.pprct.org
