Story
Hi I'm Bullseye! I'm definitely the life of the party! I'm just four months old, so I've only been to a few parties, but everyone there loved me and was laughing at all my jokes (ie: silly puppy energy). Also I'm very smart. Sometimes I use that to learn new party tricks, and sometimes I use that to knock your beer over. I know all my basic commands, am almost completely house-broken, and do well in a crate. I'd be good at agility or other dog sports, because I'm so athletic and hyper focused on what my person is trying to teach me. And I'd also be good in a family that has other dogs. I love other dogs and do a good job respecting their boundaries. And even though I'm small, I like long hikes and adventures! I'm also the class clown, and I can be a little bit "extra. My trainer thinks in my early puppyhood I was with kids that overhandled me, so I learned I had to get my puppy teeth out to make it stop. But I've made a lot of progress at my foster home and I'm using my teeth less and less to communicate. I'm expected to be 30-50 lbs fully grown. I'm looking for a forever home with a family that will have fun with my playful personality and will keep working with me to help me direct all my puppy energy. Apply to adopt me today!

Story
Whoever is lucky enough to adopt Piper will be getting a real gem! She is so easy to fall in love with. Our foster caregiver reports that Piper is one of the most loving dogs they have ever met. Inside she is quite calm and cuddly but outside she loves to run, so a fenced yard is required. She leaps just like a deer and is so fun to watch. She loves to chase the ball and then jump on top of it - it's pretty adorable. Because she is still young, she still needs some time to realize her size and strength so must be supervised around small children and animals. But inside, when she is calm, she seems to do very well with children. She is fully potty trained and aims to please and listens well! She has also learned many commands like sit and shake. It is best not to use a crate with Piper because in her former life, it was reported that she was stuck in the crate for extended periods of time, and she gets rather panicky now if made to go in a crate. She seems to be past the puppy chewing stage and has a very soft mouth when taking treats/food. Piper would love, love, love to find a home with a doggie friend or two as she thrives when playing with her foster fur-siblings! Fill out an application to adopt and you can meet Piper. We promise you will fall in love quickly!

Story
Ducky is the happiest boy, always eager to make new friends anywhere he goes! This boy has an ambiguous past, having showed up on someones porch as a stray in January 2024. Ducky is on his way to mastering the art of potty training. Currently, he is comfortable in his crate as it is where he sleeps, eats, and spends his unsupervised time. Ducky is a curious, fearless boy who just wants to run and play in the yard, house, and is a cheerful boy on his walks. He walks very well on a leash and is on his way to being quite the Velcro dog. His ideal family would enjoy an active lifestyle and bring him on adventures! His foster family consists of two dogs, two cats, and two adult humans. He loves all of them dearly, although he is still learning to respect the boundaries of the cats. We would recommend Duckys forever home be cat-free; however, it could be possible with consistent, effective training. While Ducky does get along with his foster dog siblings and loves other dogs when properly introduced, he would do best in a pet-free home where he can be your one and only! His foster siblings are very submissive, so he could potentially be in a home with another very submissive, female dog. He has not been tested with children or livestock. Because Ducky can be mouthy, we believe his best home would not have young children. Ducky would likely be fine with older children/teens (10+). Ducky does not have a high prey drive and has low reactivity when it comes to animals and strangers inside and outside of the home. He has a loud bark, so may not be suitable for apartment living. He uses his voice most when asking his foster siblings to play, or when his foster humans are leaving the house. Ducky has an incredibly sweet disposition and his favorite things to do include playing with a flirt pole in the yard, chasing balls, playing tug-o-war with his foster siblings, chewing on Benebones, and going for walks! Oh and eating food! Being a pup who is still learning to control his impulses, Ducky explores the world with his mouth. He can be quite mouthy, though this is a behavior he is learning to control! Ducky is eager to please and very intelligent! He is actively mastering sit, lie down, leave it, drop, and come. He continues to learn commands that help him develop structure and impulse control as well. At the end of the day, Ducky would do best in a home with experienced dog owners who could cultivate a safe, structured environment for him. His ideal family would be able to provide Ducky with consistent, gentle training in a way that best advocates for him, encouraging him to blossom into the best friend he wants to be!

Butter is an absolute DREAMBOAT! He is a wonderful little puppy who will always make you smile! If you need a sweet and happy little cuddle bug, then Butter is the one for you! You won't be able to resist those beautiful puppy eyes of his either. He is loving being at the rescue where he gets to learn all about the wonders of toys, treats, and snuggle time. He is incredibly smart and at the perfect age where he is excited and eager to learn and please. He is curious of his surroundings and can be cautious of new situations, but with encouragement, his confidence can really shine! He loves being in a pack and sticking close to other dogs or his people. He is also learning recall and leash skills so he can go on adventures with his forever family one day! After his puppy energy is out, he is more than happy to chill. He is the best snuggler and just melts into you - like butter! He also seems to enjoy his crate and will put himself in there when he is ready for a nap. He sleeps peacefully in his crate all night! He is also potty-trained and has not had an accident in his house! He has great house manners and is a total gentleman (not whiney, barky, or bitey!) He loves his long walks in the morning and is starting to enjoy car rides too as he gains his confidence. Butter is even winning over his two, older foster dog siblings who usually don't love puppy energy because he is very calm and respectful of them. Butter can't wait for his forever family to come for him so he can grow up knowing lots of love!

My adoption fee has been fully sponsored. Adopt me and pay $0.00!!!Rocky is a very friendly dog and excellent running/walking partner! He will be a great addition to the right family! He has done well around other dogs, patience is key when it comes to helping any dog adjust to a new home. OCAS recommends slow, monitored introductions to any pets in a new home. Please visit this page for more information about introducing pets.Rocky loves people but he has not always done well around small children, so a home with no children or a home with older children would likely be the best for him. He will make a great companion, he just needs a chance and some kind humans to help him settle in!
