We are accepting applications for our sweet girl, Lorelai. She was a pull from Memphis Animal Services, on September 21, 2022. When she came to us she weighed 26lbs & was heartworm positive, She is with a foster who was getting her through her first few critical months, but still has her. She is more than ready for her furever love!! She is completely house trained, and is a very well behaved house guest. She loves all people, though she is more comfortable with her doggie friends who are more on the chill side. She has gone through her heartworm treatment, over 6 months ago. She is extremely sweet, despite all of the horrors that she endured before coming into our rescue.

Hello, my name is Clooney! Clooney is a courtesy posting for a kind & loving family who sadly find themselves in a position of needing to lovingly rehome this gorgeous, sweet dog. Clooney wrote up a description of himself and he would like you to read it: "I am a mixed Brindle Pitbull breed and am about 3.5 years old. I am a big cuddle bug and sometimes don't even know my own size as I always sit with my owner on her recliner. Although we both don't fit very well, I love to snuggle . I have really big paws and I love to play with the hose in the summer. Its my favorite activity! I am so excited to see all the guests that come to my house to visit. Although I may need some work on jumping as I get so excited. I do really well with other dogs although I've never met any kitties. I think I may be just a tad rough with my house play that I may be best to be in a house with no children or adults only as I don't know my own strength. One of my other favorite past times is to lay in front of the fireplace on cold nights. I'm looking for my forever home and a family that I can continue to love unconditionally. UPDATE 10/22/2024 Lavender is now 4 months old and weighs 25 lbs. She will be a big girl when full grown! Most likely over 70 lbs. And we are so thrilled to share that Lavender can hear some things and is not completely deaf!!!!! Lavender LOVES to snuggle and give kisses! - Is learning not to be “mouthy” with her little puppy teeth and she is making good improvement with that. - Has learned not to jump on people. - Has learned how to sit with hand motions. - Is crate trained. - Doing great on her house training, but she’s still very young. - Walks well on a leash. — Extremely food motivated, which makes training very easy with her. - Absolutely LOVES her toys. - Loves dogs and is okay with cats, too! She is just SUPER playful and active so obviously she needs monitored when first introduced. We are recommending a securely fenced yard for her safety, due to her limited hearing. No electric/invisible fences. Stairs can be kind of hard for her so it's still a work in progress but I have no doubt that as soon as she finds the confidence, she will catch on fast. She is up to date on vaccinations and HW/flea prevention. She has an appointment to be spayed in November. Adopter must live within 60 minutes of the greater Cleveland area. Tyson is a friendly and energetic young boy. I adopted him from the shelter about 2 months ago, when at the time I was in a job working from home. Since then I have started a new job that requires me to be in the office and I am no longer home enough to fulfill his mental and physical needs. Tyson has a very high oral drive, he constantly likes to be chewing on a toy or bone. He really enjoys playing fetch in the yard or the house, and this is one of the best activities to engage with him on. He also likes playing tug of war with a rope and ball. Tyson is potty trained and kennel trained. He goes in the kennel most nights or while I’m at work. Since I’ve adopted him he’s had no bathroom accidents in the house. Tyson is still rather young and in need of a lot of attention and some training. He is still learning his manners and tends to be jumpy around new people or dogs. He is always friendly and never aggressive. Tyson is in need of a home that can support his high energy drive.
