My name is Teddy. I am a tricolored, 4 year old male, pit bull mix, weighing around 80 pounds. I was rescued by City Dogs in Cleveland, OH, where I received all of my vaccines, was microchipped, and neutered. I was adopted following a short stay, by a family with young children. I am mostly housebroken, with occasional accidents when left inside for longer periods of time. My energy mirrors the energy in the home (i.e. I can be low energy and lounge or hyper and have the zoomies.) I enjoy snuggling, attention, and belly rubs. I love going on walks for fresh air and to see other people and dogs. The ideal home would be with a person or people who can spend time with me, get me routine exercise, and provide a calmer environment. I am good with kids/children however, a home with children 8 years or older would be ideal as I can become stressed and overwhelmed with little kids (noise, level of activity, physicality when giving attention).

She is not aggressive and very playful, and forgets she isn’t a small dog. She is potty trained but will have accidents if not taken outside…she enjoys being outside and is very curious. Oreo will stay, sit, lay down and will not move until told to. She is an all around great pet and will be a great addition to any family.

This is the hardest decision we have had to make, as we love Ella very much, but unfortunately, cannot give her the attention or time she deserves. Ella is 9 years old, but acts much younger. She loves to lay around, but also has a lot of energy to run, play fetch, and loves being outside. She will follow you everywhere, will cuddle all day, and loves being around people. We have 3 other dogs, two small ones and a larger labradoodle that is bigger than Ella. Over a year ago Ella bit one of our smaller dogs, who recently just had puppies. We thought it was a hormone thing but Ella acts out towards her now. We have always kept them all together but since this time Ella has worn a muzzle every day and we keep her separated from the 2 small dogs. It breaks our heart, but for the safety of our small dogs she is in her cage a lot. We would love to find a family who will give her all the time, love and attention she deserves, as she truly is a sweet and loyal girl.

I found Stella when she was three months old, running around in the neighborhood. She was not even ten pounds, dirty, cold. I took her inside and gave her a meal and a bath. Then I surrendered her to the shelter in case she had an owner looking for her. Nobody claimed her, so I snatched her right up. She's been a lovely companion to me for several months, but I just got married and would like to move in with my husband now. Sadly, his apartment will not accept her breed. He is protective when other animals come into the yard like groundhogs and stray cats. He is very sociable with other dogs, especially small dogs right now he is living with a Maltese that he has come to enjoy as a playmate sharing toys and his food. This shows he is sociable and adaptable. King has been neutered and is up to date on his shots. King enjoys belly rubs, and being close to those who give love.
