Lady Bug originally sat in a Florida shelter longer than most and was on the euthanasia list when a family stepped up to save her! Unfortunately, after her new "sister", Peanut, a Havanese became blind and deaf, she began attacking Lady Bug. Lady Bug never reacted but it has put her quality of life in a dismal position. Lady Bug's owner is being deployed and can no longer keep her. We are unsure of her with other dogs as she has only been with little Peanut. Unsure of cats but loves all humans. I came in as a stray, and honestly, I can’t believe no one came to claim me—I mean, have you seen this face? I’m not just handsome, I’m also smart. I already know some commands, and I’m always eager to please. Oh, and despite my “medium” size, I’m a certified lap dog. If you’ve got a couch, I’ll be on it. If you’ve got a lap, I’ll be in it. They don’t call me the Couch Cannoli for nothin’. I might even do well with other dogs—just bring your pups by for a meet and greet. We’ll see if they can handle all this Italian charm. Patsy was graded as an A+ cuddle buddy, and you'll be tempted to spend all day petting her luscious rolls. She absolutely belongs stretched out on a plush spot on the couch! Patsy is also a silly, spunky, and playful gal who is full of life and entertaining charm. She enjoys her walks and play time. Patsy has also been playfully social with other dogs and she has a fun time wiggling around the yards with a favorite toy (and showing off her buns!) She's a great sport for trying out all sorts of new activities and adventures, and her earnestly enthusiastic, clumsy approach to life is sure to bring a smile to your face. When she's excited, she can get a little jumpy and exuberant and with this and her size, she would do best in a home with older kids and adults. It doesn't take her too much activity before she's ready to settle back down and snuggle. Patsy is also a smarty who knows sit and down, and she listens well. She also seems housebroken (no accidents) and rides well in the car. She definitely already has some manners down. Patsy has a lot of personality and she's ready to share it with a family.
