Story

Freyja is such a great chunky little girl. She loves running and has some crackhead energy when she gets the zoomies. Her favorite things are playing outside, laying on the couch, chasing squirrels, and giving hugs and kisses. She is 4 years old, decently trained with basic commands but responds to a beep collar very well. She is a protective dog and will let you know if someone is near the house. She’s been decent around other dogs but she needs to be in a single dog household. The ideal home would be someone who is active, older kids if any, and no other animals. I’m sure with time, acclimation, and training she would be fine with other animals but she is food aggressive with other dogs. She’s been a blessing to have with my one year old. She lets him pull her ears and stick his face in hers and doesn’t react. Unfortunately, I need to find her home because of some major life events and not being able to give her the time and attention she needs.

This handsome guy is Copper. Isnt he cute in his coats?!He is approximately two years young and weighs in at 34 pounds. Copper is a very happy pup most of the time. He is happy to see people, dogs, toys, and very happy to see foodInitially Copper did not know what toys were or how fun they could be. Now he knows! He is cute exploring the toy box. Copper came from a hoarding/abandonment case where he and 12 other dogs were kept outdoors on short, heavy heavy chains. Those lucky enough to have shelter were only provided with plastic barrels to huddle inside to escape the rain.Our rescue pulled three of these dogs Rosie & Lily Pit have been adopted into wonderful homes and their families cannot brag about them enough! Bixby is a sweet dog that I adopted from a shelter several years ago. He is approximately 5 years old and around 65 lbs. I am not able to care for Bixby and exercise him the way he needs on walks. His main behavior issue is pulling on walks and lunging- although he is generally friendly with other dogs. I don't have the right home for a large dog and physically can not handle him. I’m looking to rehome asap.

Trixx came from a rural shelter with little chance of finding a home. She is a young girl with lots of love to give. She likes to go on walks, loves her chew toys, is housebroken and crate trained. She is 1 year old and full grown at 35 pounds. She is in foster with cats and when they swat her she knows to leave them alone. She likes to play with the big dogs but plays a bit too rough for smaller dogs or timid cats.
