What a face! Humphrey is a big doofus. When he arrived he weighed 14 lbs. He was living in a crate and being starved to death. But with the right vet care and foster he is now 40 lbs and loving life. He still wants to eat too fast so he uses a special bowl to slow him down. Humphrey is still learning he can go outside to potty and he doesn't have to do his business in his crate. At some point his ears were cut off, probably with scissors, but that doesn't seem to bother him. And it just gives him a special look, along with his squatty muscular body. He needs a strong person to help him keep learning life can be good. He can be reactive with some dogs. No idea about cats but probably should not live with them. He does think he should be a lap dog and loves belly rubs. She loves to play with other dogs, we've discovered she is great at agility and she respects cats. Millie would be best suitable for a young couple or older woman with no other animals. She does fine with other dogs but she is very territorial. She guards food and toys and will show teeth and growl if provoked. Millie doesn’t like to be told what to do and if she is tired she might show teeth if you are trying to get her to do something she doesn’t want to do, like move from the couch. We took her in after my husbands grandmother passed away. Millie would sit at the top of the couch and cuddle his grandma. She does pull on the leash at first but is relatively good. She loves to sunbathe.

A 55lb birch-colored ball of energy, Arties silliness is one of his many lovable traits! Although it takes a minute to warm up to new people, once he does, he loves to cuddle and show off his zoomies. With a little guidance, Artie loves to take walks and enjoys being outside. He is currently up to date with shots, neutered and is being taught basic commands. He may possibly be dog selective, but we are currently testing for that. He has not been tested with kids or cats.
