Story
Milo is one of the best dogs. He is energetic, lovable, and listens very well. His biggest flaw is that he is a 45lb lap dog.I have had him since he was 3 months old, he gets along with other humans, kids, cats, and most dogs. I unfortunately do not think he will be fit with another MALE dog now. He recently was attacked at a park by another male dog and has since shown severe anxiety because of it, with medications not deeming 100% helpful. I have to let my loving boy go because I own two other male dogs that he now shows anxiety and reaction over. He still gets along just fine with the cats, and his doggy sister. He will be the best cuddler, best shoulder to cry on, and the best adventure pal you could ask for. He just needs a loving space without another boy dog.

Story
Got from my friend who got an intact german sherpard who he didnt get along with. He does fine with female dogs and is a grumpy old man with puppies. Great dog except extreme anxiety on nail trims. Growls but doesn't bite. I can't keep him because nobody is home most of the day and he is destructive due to seperation anxiety. Apartment complex said him or move out. So here i am. Here is a great dog as long as he has human company. Any human will do of any age.

Story
Chico is a one-year-old sweetheart with a playful spirit and an even bigger heart. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and children and has a gentle, affectionate nature. When it comes to cats, he’s still learning not to chase them, but he has shown no aggression and is doing well so far. Chico truly doesn’t realize how big he is—he loves curling up in laps and cuddling whenever he can. Eager to please, Chico is making great progress with potty training and is already crate trained and leash trained. He enjoys playtime, plenty of affection, and staying close to his people, making him an excellent companion for an active yet loving home. Chico loves being part of the action and will happily soak up all the attention you’re willing to give. Located in North Texas, Transport available and fee included

Story
What a face! Humphrey is a big doofus. When he arrived he weighed 14 lbs. He was living in a crate and being starved to death. But with the right vet care and foster he is now 40 lbs and loving life. He still wants to eat too fast so he uses a special bowl to slow him down. Humphrey is still learning he can go outside to potty and he doesn't have to do his business in his crate. At some point his ears were cut off, probably with scissors, but that doesn't seem to bother him. And it just gives him a special look, along with his squatty muscular body. He needs a strong person to help him keep learning life can be good. He can be reactive with some dogs. No idea about cats but probably should not live with them. He does think he should be a lap dog and loves belly rubs. I am in a foster home so if you are interested in adoptiong me, please fill out an online adoption application at https://colonycats.org/adoption_app.html to expedite the process.  Due to the large number of inquiries we receive, we are unable to respond to emails quickly.  February 11, 2025, 6:40 am

Rubi is a sweet, well mannered 3 yr old pit that loves everyone. She is crate trained, house broken, knows commands and wants to make you happy. She loves to play with other dogs, we've discovered she is great at agility and she respects cats. This sweet girl just needs a home of her own so she can get all the live she deserves.  Rubi is spayed,  microchipped and up to date on vaccines.August 26, 2025, 5:57 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Fill out an Adoption Application Are you seeking the goodest boy? Look no further, as his name is Saint and he is up for adoption. Rescue workers brought Saint in after finding him sleeping as a stray on a bench outside a remote house. They contacted his former owner and learned that he had abandoned Saint. His foster family lives near where rescuers found him. The foster family would love to adopt him, unfortunately their other male does not like him. Saint loves laying on the couch next to his person while watching tv. He lets out his extra energy by playing with toys or zooming around the yard. He can play with other dogs, or he can entertain himself. Although friendly to all people and children, he forms attachments to individuals. He knows sit, stay, up, down, lay down, no, come, leave it, crate and much more. Once you have him do something once or twice, it becomes second nature to him. He will chase a cat, but if you “say leave” it or “no” before the chase happens, he will leave them alone. This dog has everything to offer the perfect family. He is an easy trainable dog. His only downside is not having any people to ensure the best for this goodest boy. The current foster loves to talk about him, so feel free to ask questions.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.
